"I called Waterproofing Inc on a Wednesday and we scheduled an appointment for an estimate for Saturday. Steve promptly came at the scheduled time and we reviewed the situation in my basement.   I told him of my goal to have a finished DRY basement.  He looked at my existing pump and drain. He suggested that I could apply (or have applied) plastic sheeting to the walls to help with the seepage problem. However, he doesn't do that type of work. He also asked me what I thought the problem was with the moisture problem. He suggested that he could extend the current waterproofing system along the entire back wall and gave me a written estimate for that work. The reason that I rated him a B and said I would hire him was because I didn't feel confident in his diagnosis of the root cause of the water problem and his proposed solution to address the issue so that my basement could be dry. I am looking for a one stop shop with a solution driven individual who comes in as a problem solver. I just didn't get that from Steve. He didn't even look (or ask to look) outside the house to see how the water comes off the back of the house where the problem is.  I'm guess if I just wanted someone to drill up the concrete and put a drain in, he would be fine because his price was reasonable for that work. But I'm looking for a holistic solution provider who will address all issues with the most effective and efficient techniques to keep my basement dry.  I just wouldn't hire him for that role."

They removed several trees, pruned the trees and bushes I wanted to keep, and planted a couple dozen new trees, bushes, and other plants. They also created a new pebble pathway and widened my concrete porch. It was a lot of work, but they got it done very quickly for an affordable price. I'm very happy with the results."

"I had contracted to have 3 eroded areas of the lawn filled in with topsoil, seeded and then covered with Curlex. They also were to split some firewood I had stacked in the front yard, using my splitter. They called me and asked if I had any additional 4 x 4's to use as a base to stack the logs because they already had filled the one stack. While on the phone with me they stated that they had substituted leafgro for topsoil because the company where they purchased supplies was out of topsoil. I felt I should have been notified of this prior to purchasing the leafgro and using it to fill in the areas. The areas filled in are very soft and mushy due to the leafgro. The service provider did call the following day to check on my satisfaction with the job and offered to make corrections. They also said that if the leafgro washed away they would come back and correct the problem.
