"We bid the job with different companies and chose Designer Concepts on price and the professionalism they showed in presenting their bids. They gave us a target start date and assured us that once they started, they would continue until completion. They did just as promised; keeping us informed as other jobs neared completion and the worked started within the window they planned. <br /> Once the job started, they were there everyday and worked - didn't stand around. They worked on our project everyday, all day; not jumping from one customer to another. They were also very considerate about where to park equipment and materials. <br /> When the job was completed they cleaned up everything, not leaving us with any issues. <br /> Now nearly 6 years later, we have had no issues with our patio. "We contacted Jim and another contractor after reviewing comments on Angie's list. We decided to contract the work with Jim after doing a walk through with him. His comments and suggestions made us feel like we could trust him to do whatever was needed to update our 1960's home. We thought his quote was reasonable when we compared it to the other contractor. <br /> Jim started on our job right away and juggled his schedule to meet most of our needs. We didn't have the kitchen cabinets ordered when he started, but he did the demolition and electrical work so that the plastering could be scheduled. He even worked a Sat & Sun to be ready for them. We knew going in that he would be starting another lengthy job so  there was a little delay once the cabinets did arrive but we anticipated that. He juggled work between the two jobs to our satisfaction. I wouldn't recommend this to everyone, but it worked for us because we wanted to do most of the painting ourselves. <br /> Jim also helped find us an electrician to replace the outdated panel we had. Along with this replacement, Jim helped pull old <br /> wiring that we found in the basement area (a DIY job from the previous owner) and installed new lights and outlets in this area. <br /> Even though we were not living in the house during the remodel, Jim and crew were good about cleaning up at the end of each day. We had already painted and carpeted the rest of the house, so we appreciated not having dirt everywhere. <br /> We would recommend Jim's work and will contact him in the spring to get a quote on a deck we're planning. <br />"

"Always there on time and cleaned up after. Very quick getting quote to me and hired him next day, and started work next morning. Showed me the problem and described what they were going to do. Ceiling patch was done perfectly and cannot tell it had a problem. I would hire again for work. <br />"

"It took awhile before ABC Construction and Restoration Co/United Construction came to do the work. We were not in a hurry, but it was over a month later after we contacted them and placed an Angie Deal payment of $99 for the work ($99 paid on 8/11/2014). The scheduled day of work ended up not seeing them either but we received a call the next day with an apology saying another job took longer than they thought. When they arrived there were two to do the work. The younger man did most of the work and the other was supervising. The work required the one man to take off our siding and place the moisture barrier and then put the siding back on. This took a good amount of the day for the sections they needed to do. Also they found that hornets had placed a nest of sorts under our siding for some reason and they weren't prepared for that (how could they...who would have guessed of such a thing?). Fortunately no one was stung and they got rid of them and finished the job. After they left I found nails all over from the siding that they had pulled (I am hoping they nailed the siding back up properly and that a nasty wind won't take it off) and they forgot to place my satellite cable back under the siding where it was before....hidden. I contacted them again and the next day someone came out and replaced the cable (I had already picked up all the nails I could find). I would recommend this company for it's prices and it's work but like most contractor companies you will need to have patience on the timing and completion of your job. It will be done right, but it might take a few calls to finally finish the job. <br />"

"Our Ins co. informed us our roof needed to be replaced to keep our coverage from being dropped. They said it was wavy. I called and requested a few quotes, and we settled on the Dillman Brothers. They worked within the deadline that the Ins co. had set,  and did a good job. The lead onsite took time to answer questions and address concerns, and seemed interested in doing a good job, not just getting it done. So, after the job was complete the Ins co. still wasn't satisfied, but Larry Dillman spoke to our Ins agent and together they were able to put to rest any concerns that the Ins provider had."
