Some of his workmanship - especially the fine details like small paint splatter, garage floor epoxy coat application, and cabinet painting - was 3 stars at first. Other work he did - installing new plumbing fixtures, bathtub sliding doors, sheet metal exhaust for kitchen - were 5 stars. Paul consistently worked to get it right and make me happy. He was always responsive and available. His attitude is 5 starts. He was open about his costs. Some things dragged on but most remodel contractors suffer from this ailment. Because of the scarcity of tradesmen in Bend/Central Oregon, I recommend learning the history about his subcontractors before they start work on your house. Most were good but a couple did not have the right experience."

He uses only the best materials, top of the line building and roofing materials make our job one that will last for a lifetime. I have confidence in Max, he was always there for any questions I had and when I had an unexpected disaster - a ceiling fell on me, he was right there, offering to come to my house and help me, in my hour of need, he was there. He finished the job with time to spare, and they did a thorough, excellent job. Now I have no fear of rainstorms making my roof leak, I can confidently decorate my home and know that the roof won't leak or fall in. Not only did they do a thorough and excellent job, they cleaned up all the mess that was left over after finishing. If I had to do it all over again, I would definitely choose NW Buildlers & Renovation and Max. my favorite go to roofing guy."
