"Very personable fellow, first impressions upon meeting Gary was that he was trustworthy, experienced, knowledgable and fair. We have not received our quote yet as it has been less than a day later. He did state a well known reputable electrician that he works with on any electrical repairs. We had heard of that company name and recognized it's quality. If his price is right we have no ill feelings about his ability to complete the work. Also if anyone is interested he has experience with our type of mortgage loan for FHA 203k which pays for repairs as part of the mortgage and requires special things like liability insurance and lots of paper work.

Jason, the owner of the company, called me back very promptly, but did tell me due to high demand he was not able to help me at that time. He has been in business for a long time, has a vast knowledge of all aspects of homes, and home repair. I can say one thing, he definitely knows what he's doing, and gave me a lot of advice that will help me make sure I get my water problem fixed, and fixed correctly without shortcuts. "Matt Pomeroy promptly responded to our first call and arrived the next day for measurements and conversation about what we wanted. He emailed back plans the next day. He mad many helpful suggestion as we went through about 3 iterations of the design finally deciding on just a deck. We had some special things we wanted like very shallow steps (almost a ramp) and Matt was able to do that for us. He also assisted us with getting a metal railing from Fortin Iron Works. He also took care of the proper building permits and inspections.
Actual construction was completed by Sean and Adam and they were excellent also. I could tell from day 1 they were very professional. We would talk to them about small things we wanted done a certain way and they were always agreeable to work with. They are also, in my opinion, excellent carpenters who can do everything needed on a construction site.
They also kept the work site very clean. At the end of each day they returned the old stairs to our back door so the dogs could go out and do their business without us having to take them on a leash. They worked during some of the coldest weather in November and kept the job going.
We are planning another project for this year and will want to work with Matt, Sean and Adam again.
