"The project went great...they provided an estimate, did the work in a few days, and it looks better than it did before. They used a high-grade aluminum mailbox that should last a long time. There was a small issue with the light not working after the project was completed, but Wayne came out and fixed it and made some improvements in case maintenance is needed in the future. "Yard is draining nicely. The work itself was timely, and the crew came back next day to add a downspout that was discussed initially but left out of the contract. Crew broke the buried invisible fence cable under the creek that had been marked, with no offer to cover the $125 repair bill. While the work done matched the contract, I needed to read it more carefully before signing. The contract showed 3 sets of plants, 6 each, when we had discussed 8 of each. We also discussed 2.5-3" diameter maple trees (size not in contract), but got 2 that were 1-1.5" because 'that's all the nursery had.' None of the grass plants had come out yet, being late February; when 3 still hadn't come out by July, I left a message for Matt on replacement under warrantee. Mid August, I called again and was told that there was no warrantee but I could just go down to nursery and replace them myself. After what I paid for the work, I didn't think it right to invest another handful to correct dead plants, and Matt agreed to resolve the 3 dead plants when he had a break between jobs. It's October."
