"They arrived right at the beginning of the time slot. They repaired all three crowns with new mortar, then sealed them plus the top crown. They wire brushed the chimney and applied a sealant on the whole chimney. Since I did not obtain any other bids for this work, I have no idea how good or bad the price is, thus the B grade for price. They have done prior work for me and have cleaned my chimney for years so I trust them. Workers were friendly and polite and cleaned everything up when they were done."

"I accepted Horizon's bid after looking at 4 for a new torchdown roof with crossed seams. After several weeks delay until the rainy weather cleared, they were in and out in two days including removal and cleanup of the old roof and installation of the new, ahead of the 3 day estimate. There was a subsequent problem with a leak from a drain and Pete made a couple of trips to correct the problem. Works is now guaranteed for 10 years and my tenants know whom to call."

"Our roofing contractor was concerned about leaks through the brick and mortar. I called Chris Arndt Masonry & Chimney Restoration and was pleasantly surprised. The owner Chris Arndt came to the house just 45 minutes after I made the inquiry. He advised me that the brick, mortar, and even the firebox are in very good shape and will last many more years and that all I need is to put a new concrete cap on the chimney then clean and put a water sealant on it. He told me I can actually do all of this work myself and save money on it. Don't get that kind of help very often."

"When the glass in our 1998 gas fireplace broke, RCS came out, took the framework back to the shop, and constructed a new piece of glass and frame work for it. Upon installation of the new piece, Rusty didn't think it fit snugly enough so he took it back to the shop and made the necessary adjustments to assure a proper fit. We greatly appreciate Rusty's advice, diligence, and persistence in addressing the idiosyncrasies of a 18 year old insert, and thank him for his effort and a job well done. We had a great experience working with RCS and will seek them out in the future."

"Great job on the roof - no mess left at all. They also took a look at my chimney where there'd been leaks, patched some nail holes that they found and offered some suggestions for possible repairs if I still see water intrusion. Very pleased with the work and the customer service."

"Went smoothly. Completely both the skylite and the kitchen fan roof exhaust in 4 hrs. I did not discover any leak after it done. Outside roof appearance is good. Workers are professional and know what is required to complete the job. The kitchen fan roof exhaust is a tricky one and cannot be done with conventional flashing. So the installer use a torch down roof method instead. Good thinking. Pic show both the skylite and the kitchen fan roof exhaust."

"WONDERFUL! Great to work with people that don't do it "half-way" and really care about their customers. Here's this chapter of outstanding customer service. Tim at Stewart Roofing (who is very knowledgeable and customer-oriented) worked with me in June over a number of days reviewing photos of 1) a shingle tab with about a 2"x2" surface area "gone" near my peak and 2) a bottom tab that was slight torn. Keep in mind, this was all installed early 2015. That didn't matter. Rick (owner) and Tim reviewed some photos I sent and offered to send someone out ASAP to replace the tabs...even the bottom tab we determined I likely snagged with my electric cord when blowing off my roof. The technician came, checked out the peak "spot" and the bottom tear. The top was likely just a bubble from manufacturing and he was happy to replace it...but didn't recommend it because sometimes the "fix is worse than the problem". I agreed 100%...I don't like disturbing a nicely laid, sealed roof unless necessary. Given there was another layer of material on the tab, we moved on to the bottom tab I likely tore. He was happy to replace it (again, this wasn't a warranty issue, just excellent customer service) and he did and I appreciated it. How did it go? Pretty AWESOME! Really glad I went with Stewart Roofing years past...they've never let me down! They deserve another Angie's List award for 2018! They have my vote for sure!"

"They were very knowledgeable and gave me helpful advice about maintenance that we can do ourselves. For applying sealant, a water base latex applied with a backpack garden sprayer was recommended. They were scrupulously careful about my plants and watering lines. They used hose guards to protect the flower beds. The finished work looks very good, and they did a thorough job of cleaning up.

Their prices are competitive. I saved $400 with a Big Deal. "
