"All work done professionally and in a timely manner. Project started with a thorough powerwashing of existing deck, rails, supports. Badly warped and/or splintered decking and rail top replaced with new, pressure-treated lumber. Old wood power-sanded then hand- painted with clear stain finish. Attention to detail was excellent; perfection is the standard of this company."

"After receiving bids from several companies, we selected Sunshine Contracting to replace all of the windows in our house with Sunrise windows, do a complete removal and replacement of all of the siding on our “Tudor style” house with James Hardi fiber cement siding, and replace all existing gutters and downspouts. This job was particularly complex due to the style of the house and the multitude of “Tudor style” architectural designs that needed to be maintained and replicated with the James Hardi fiber cement boards. This was also a challenge because the previous trim boards were all rough sawn cedar and the stucco panels and lap siding were vintage 1979 Masonite. The quality of the work performed by Sunshine Contracting was outstanding, and yes, we would contract with them again if we had to do it all over again. Their professional siding craftsmen had experience in re-siding Tudor Style homes and were able to replicate all of the intricate carpentry previously done in the rough sawn cedar with the James Hardi fiber cement board. Any concerns or issues that we raised, were immediately addressed by the team and corrected. The Project Manager and Team Leads were always there and available to us, and answered all of our questions. The whole crew was very professional and friendly, and they did a great job cleaning up after every working day. Sunshine Contracting has now taken us from a home that required outside maintenance on a regular basis, to one that is essentially maintenance free! "excellent - we lucked out with Sam and his crew for painting exterior of our house. We got their estimate several weeks before but undecided. He called back fortuitously on the last warm weekend of fall 2016. We had negotiated initial price, but turned out we wanted more work than original spec. Turned out we got everything we wanted and they had excellent recommendation to paint gutter and fix rotted out wood on porch and window sills. It was paint and repair throughout and they did a thorough job. They got custom color that we wanted, repaired porch, scraped old paint from sills and replaced rotted wood framing for side door to garage. They did excellent job in scraping and painting our patio french doors which had water damage - made them look new. Neighbors remarked what a good job they did...it made the house look like new. Sam had great follow-up and so glad he persisted in calling us back up. His crew are expert in painting and repair. Definitely would hire them to do other jobs again."

"The project has taken more time than anticipated due to material and subcontractor availability. The framing work was outstanding. Wall board work was also outstanding. Electrical work was very good, but the location of a bathroom fixture and chair lift power plug had to be moved because they were too low. The tile work in the bathroom (shower and floor), computer room (floor), entrance (floor) was outstanding, but I'd rather call it amazing. The plumbing work was very good, but parts availability delayed completion. Finishing work done by MJL was outstanding!!! Anthony is a master at detail. The rigor of MJL inspection of work by the subcontractors was very thorough and when issues were identified were recorded and worked off. Communication and follow up is a big deal for home improvement projects in this challenging environment of material, parts, and workforce shortages. MJL excelled in communication. We rated punctuality as good but would have rated them very good if there was an option. We highly recommend them. We have since booked two additional projects with MJL, a screened in porch and a garage redo. They start in late July. We expect both projects to go very well."

"They were efficient in terms of the process. They sent the pad in a reasonable time frame. I did have to call a couple times. It took about a month to deliver. They sent the material which was packed nicely. There were 2 issues: 1-the glue or adhesive they used smelled badly. I had to put in my garage for a couple weeks until that 2-every corner was protruded, the table pad corners were too sharp on the mat .which poses risks with small children. I called about that and they said to put some tape over it. The manager called back to discuss the issue was. She suggested that I try to fix. it. The company might have done something to repair if I had followed up."
