"I recently had my concrete sidewalk repaired, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Bobby and his team were professional, courteous. The repaired sidewalk looks fantastic and blends seamlessly with the existing concrete. I truly appreciate their hard work and attention to detail. I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of quality concrete repair. I will definitely call Bobby for my future concrete work."

"Torres Construction. Very professional and polite.Very good pricing as well. Very happy with our driveway. It was a large project, the weather was a challenge at times. Tony was more than willing to work through any concerns. My walkway is so beautiful. I would definitely have them back, should I need more work done should. "

"I started out with the worst contractor of all time. Then I reached out on Angis list and was able to get in contract with Ahmed from smart general contracting. He was responsive right away and helped us finish our he house to look beautiful. He completed my porch, my stucco, and my pavement. Him and his workers were always kind and respectful. I would definitely recommend smart general contracting again and looking forward to doing more projects with them!"

"This was one of the best contractors I've literally ever worked with. They were pleasant, punctual, clean, talented (perfectionists), and so responsive to all of our needs. The owner, Karim, is the most lovely human. He takes so much pride in his work and supports his team in every way. He works hard himself and also looks out for his workers, as well as obviously looking out for the customer. We couldn't be happier."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Queens, NY

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
