"We purchased a 1924 bungalow in early 2021, which still had the original and not very functional kitchen. We enjoyed working with Roger from Kitchen Krafters in part due to his enthusiasm for old houses. He helped us to create a plan for remodel which made the kitchen much more functional, using some slight movement of walls and opening of space while also still mostly retaining the original charm of the house. We appreciated his flexibility, as he was able to start the dirtier demolition and rough work before we actually moved in, by adjusting his own schedule somewhat. He is very detail oriented, and he identified and corrected a structural problem in the basement that would have eventually become a larger problem and which could easily have been ignored by a contractor working in the kitchen upstairs. The finished product is beautiful and meticulously installed. Work included replacing all electrical/plumbing, reframing two walls, restoring hardwood floor that had been covered with linoleum for many years, new cupboards/back splash/quartz counters, and all in a newly designed configuration. We do have one concern that is not the fault of Kitchen Krafters. They only use cabinetry from one company, and we have been disappointed with the finish on that cabinetry (white), as the paint has been wearing off the corners of several of the drawers despite careful use over the past 8 months. Roger has been really helpful in touching up some of these areas even though he's been done with our job for 8 months now, and so that really speaks to the quality of his company. But, I would recommend that other cabinet manufacturers being considered for future use."

"Danny was a consummate professional… very timely, communicative, experienced, and knowledgeable. He set reasonable expectations, then promptly exceeded them. Cannot stress enough how succinct the whole process was. We love our basement countertops, the installation was top notch. "He started the job when promised. However, when he arrived to get the contract signed there was a mysterious extra $1,000 on the bottom line over what he told me on the phone. He made the correction. Overall promptness and showing up on days promised was not good. Job should have been 4 days but he was here for over 2 weeks off and on. The place was a complete mess for the two weeks. They did clean up every night but the dust was terrible. Close the garage doors! Hired a temp mason for one day and his work was not good. They had to redo some of that work.
Had to charge extra for removing some of the concrete stoop because it was twice as thick as he expected. I think he should have noticed that before the job started. Had to convince him to change some of the details of the job that my wife and I did not feel were going well. He changed it to the way we wanted after some convincing. His right hand man typically agreed with our opinion and not his. They argued a lot.
The overall stone work looks great. Have had many complements. Had a small amount of tuck-pointing that needed to be done after a front door was installed. He stood me up on our first appointment. That was 3 weeks ago and I can't reach him now. Guess I will have to call someone else - should have held off on some of the final payment!
Certainly could use some organizing and professionalism. Would not use again.
