"These guys are great. They stayed in touch, were on time, made minimal cuts in the drywall (made sure they were behind the microwave hood area and range. They stayed in touch with city inspectors and coordinated visits. In fact, the inspector signed off on the permit after installation without requiring a second inspection with the appliance hooked up and running, because, he said, I've seen these guys' work before and they are top notch. Everything was smooth and easy. And the bid was the bill. No surprises and that is a blessing in any remodeling project. Highly recommend."

"This was an emergency. The hose bib had split open inside the wall of our house, the water had been turned off at the curb, and we were desperate to flush toilets, wash our hands, and make coffee, among other things. They were able to move their schedule around and come by to fix the problem quickly. The repairman was very efficient and effective, and we had water back on within a few hours. The repair was not cheap, but that was, in part, because it involved cutting a hole in the drywall in my closet and purchasing/installing a plate over it when the repair was done. We now have a favorite plumbing company."

I found Modern Flooring Services when I was having a very difficult time with another installer that did a horrible job and I had to stop the job mid-way through. I called Modern Flooring Services via a reference from someone else in almost a panic, and they calmly walked me through how they were going to fix my vinyl plank installation job in my one bedroom apartment. Throughout the entire thing, their communication was impeccable -- whether over phone, email or text. They talked me through every concern I had, fixed anything I needed to have fixed as the job progressed, and made sure that the job was inspected by a supervisor at the end to boot. The team is Russian, and despite a language barrier with one of the main installers (who was excellent), I had absolutely zero problem working with the team to convey and get exactly what I needed, and on a tight budget. "From the first meeting in the showroom to months after completion of the project when we'd call about minor issues, everything was outstanding. Steve and Vitaliy were tremendous throughout the process. Although we went into the project with the intent of solely replacing the flooring, we quickly realized that the prices were going to allow us to refinish the kitchen (at a fraction of the cost of a new kitchen) and add flooring in the bathroom and laundry room. Avenues made several trips to our house for measurements and discussion prior to beginning the project. They were there throughout the entire project overseeing the work and answering questions and concerns. Vitaliy has an incredible talent for finding what works best in the house. Once the project was completed, Avenues made several trips to our house to make sure that we were satisfied.
Once the project started, any unexpected issues were brought to our attention. Things that other contractors would have ignored or would have agreed to address for a significant upcharge were addressed professionally and without significant cost to us. Items that needed to be replaced (including flooring) were completed immediately.
We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. While the quality of the product and installation were both excellent, the service we received was outstanding. We've never had an issue that's not been satisfactorily addressed.

"Amazing!!  I couldn't believe the transformation!  It turned out even better than I expected.  Jeff has so much creativity and know-how.  I swear that man can do anything!  A true craftsman.  He took my idea of a walk-in, door less shower and constructed a beautiful circular structure.  I could say that this alone attests to his experience and designablity,  but  really every detail of my project was outstanding. My masterbath is truely a masterpiece.  The quality and attention to detail was exceptional.  I am so thrilled with the end result!  And beause I was so happy with my experience I had them also do the second bath and add some cabinets and a small countertop in my laundry room.
