"Todd arrived on time and got right to work cleaning our gutters, which were a real mess. He cleaned up so well when he was finished that you’d never have known he had been there. He did a great job, as always!"

"The work that Leon Home repairs did was fantastic. They were so kind and understanding to my wife. They were always on time or I would get a call explaining why. This rarely happened though. Their work was top quality and I intend to use them to repair anything in the future on my home. Very Professional and top quality."

Customers say: Super punctual

"Took me 2 days to find someone for my urgent window repair. Once found it took about an hour for someone to get here and about 10 minutes for the fix. It is amazing how efficiently something can be done when someone knows what they are doing. It won’t take me 2 days to find someone next time as I kept this contact information."

"I originally called for closet door repair, which went perfectly. As he was leaving I asked about the possible repair of an outside pole repair on my front porch. He was also able to fix that in the same visit. I was very pleased and will definitely be using his business for future repairs."

"Good points:  they were punctual.
Bad points:  they left trash in the yard that I had to pick up; the ceiling in the room that his crew painted has bled through stains that he failed to correct even after I pointed them out; they were rushed the entire time; they took shortcuts and did not paint under the outlet covers and I had to ask them to go back since I had bought all new covers and the old paint showed and still they failed to paint under all of them so I had to go back and paint it myself; a piece of furniture that Mr. Bautista worked on still has a sticking door and now needs to be stained because he took off so much wood with his planer; a member of his crew parked on the grass two of the three days they were here when I asked them not to park there; it took three people to install the ceiling fan after much trouble and they had almost given up on it and told me that I would have to take the fan back after it was in pieces; Mr. Bautista was in a rush the entire time which led to mistakes and trash left in my yard; it was obvious that Mr. Bautista was not interested in working on my house; it is difficult to contact Mr. Bautista by telephone because he never picks up; and there were gobs of white mud or spackling dropped on closets doors.  The mud was removed but not painted over even though he was using the same color paint.  Mr. Bautista later mentioned his rich clients and I later realized that was the reason for his apathy on my job.  Mr. Bautista seemed more interested in his rich clients.  I paid him in full the same day he completed his work.  But he refused to correct the problems I pointed out with the ceiling paint.  Please view the photos attached.
More bad points:  Mr. Bautista borrowed my sander to work on my furniture and he installed the sand paper incorrectly.  I have to buy a new plate on the bottom of the sander.  The door he worked on still sticks so I will have to work on it myself and then stain it.  After his use of his electric planer, I lost confidence in his work, became worried about my furniture and objected to the bad smell coming from the planer.
I told Mr. Bautista about the trash in the yard but he did not come back to get it.  I found another piece of trash this week.
Later, I found out that Mr. Bautista is very successful and has a lot of "rich clients" and wants to keep his reputation and will not work on my house because I thought his workers had inadvertently taken my rubber hammer.   Because I had to paint after him, I had to get out the paint, and couldn?t find my hammer to close the paint can.  I had a lot of my own painting tools out in the same room his workers were in and thought they had inadvertently picked it up.  I later found it and apologized before he ever read the first email because I wrote the email late at night.  I sent the second email before he would have received the first one but he used that excuse to say that he would not work on my house again as previously promised although I do not want him back.  Since he thinks that I am not a rich client as he mentioned them, he did not seem to care much about me.  Perhaps that
explains for the substandard rushed work.
He told me about how successful he was this year and last.  He also told me that although he had a $30,000 construction license, he gets around it by separating jobs into smaller jobs and can make considerably more than $30,000 on a job.  His brother was building a house.  I consider that unethical and greedy.  There are more than 3 workers on his crews as
it states on the description of his business.

FAQs for shed, barn or playhouse repair projects in Raleigh, NC

You’ll know it’s time for a new shed roof if shingles curl or buckle, soft spots sag, or water stains appear inside. Moss or other plant growth on the surface is another red flag that moisture has breached the roofing layers. Replacing the roof quickly stops leaks from spreading, protects stored items, and saves you from costlier structural repairs down the road.

Choosing between a flat and a sloped shed roof comes down to climate, budget, and upkeep. A flat roof is cheaper up front, but still needs a slight pitch for drainage. A sloped roof sheds rain and snow more easily, lasts longer, and often needs less maintenance. Weigh your local weather patterns, the look you want, and how much time you’re willing to spend on upkeep before deciding.

A shed roof’s life span hinges on the material you choose and how well you maintain it. Most standard products last 15 to 30 years, while premium picks like slate or clay tile can protect the structure for 50 to 100 years. Regular inspections, fast fixes, and routine cleaning all help you reach the upper end of those ranges and keep your tools and gear dry year-round.
