"ARS was among the first to reply to my weekend request on an online home repair referral site for help with a broken sump pump at my home. I was a little nervous about using them as I'd had an experience about 20 years ago where I was surprised with a seemingly very high bill for replacing a water heater. But, they far exceeded every expectation this time. Most of the companies responding to my post hadn't even read it because they either didn't know what a sump pump was or said they could install one but not provide one. Even the phone receptionist at ARS was confident they both provided and installed sump pumps. It was a Saturday night that I posted the request. On Sunday, at no charge, a service person came by the house to assess the work and give a written estimate. All wanted to use their fixture and cut the shower tile to fit the new fixture, so I gave up. After a year or so, I joined Angie’s list and found Top Notch plumbing. Gordon had some fixture recommendations, but allowed me to purchase my own fixture that was compatible with my current installation. The overall install took about 3 hours. Gordon took care during the work to not damage any existing tile or carpet. He knows his craft and performed a very clean and professional install. "Thank you to Julio Valle from John Padilla Plumbing, Inc. After I had a lukewarm shower, I called Padilla Plumbing based on their 5 star reviews on various platforms. They had an opening the next afternoon. The gentleman on the phone gave me an estimate for replacing the water heater if that was necessary & told me their service charge would go toward any repair that they did for me. The next day, a gentleman called to say the plumber was running late & would miss the time window. What would I like to do? I opted to have the plumber come the same day if he could do it in the daylight. Julio arrived about 20 minutes later! Yay!! Julio was very professional & courteous. He tested the in-house faucets (upstairs & down) for water temperature. Then we went down to the water heater in the garage. He adjusted the temp on one of the heating elements as it was much lower than the other one. Again, he tested water temps upstairs & the water was already warmer!! This seems to be a well-run, responsive plumbing company that I will call again when needed. Highly recommend."

Then had me send a couple pictures of my water heater, so he could give me an estimate over the phone. He made it over 2 days later, only because his supplier was closed on Sunday, and our unit was not as common, and installed the new water heater and took the old one within a couple hours.
