"The owner Manny gave me the best value quote of the 5-6 contractors that reached out to me without even knowing what the others bid. In addition, he promised one day service which immediately moved him to the top choice. Given that his quote was lower than others had me concerned he would cheap out on materials and/or the quality would be poor but given his rating I had to give it a shot and I am glad I did because it looks great and was complete in less than a week after signing the estimate. I never thought I would be this excited about concrete. I have been contemplating doing this extension to my driveway/walkway for over a year and wished I had pulled the trigger sooner. My only recommendation when comparing contractors is make sure you are comparing apples-to-apples. Starting in 2022 I believe code asks for 6" thick for a driveway so some contractors will give you quotes for 6" and some for 4". For me 6" seemed like overkill for my use since my current driveway is only 4" and the area I put concrete is mainly for aesthetics and to help make it easier to roll out the garbage bins. It will be used sparingly for a light vehicle. If you plan on maybe putting an RV or something heavy like a F350 then you may want to go 6" but that is why a good contractor will ask you how it will be used and make a recommendation that meets your needs and not just give you the most expensive choice. In addition, the fact he has been in business over 40yrs says something."

"Stay away from this company and affiliated businesses like Daley Masonry! Michael Mulder influence's he's affiliated partners to act unethical and lack integrity on delivering good craftsmanship. The owner Michael Mulder doesn’t care about your property and will damage it from his own work and charge you for fixing it. He will try to foreclose on your home and sue you on top of it! Michael will not take responsibility or even give you an apology when his work is improper and delivers poor craftsmanship. He destroyed my backyard by one of the biggest walls collapsing on site. 8 months later and he still refuses to fix it even though it is under warranty. Michael Mulder is unethical, unprofessional & shady. He want us to pay for his unauthorized and unsigned charges before he does any warranty work. It feels like extortion and fraud! We gave him multiple attempts to fix the issues and 8 months later he refused to fix it. He withheld general liability insurance for over 6 months and he abandoned the job site. He breached his duties, warranty, & contract. Concrete was poured & paid for 7/19/24 with restart planned in 4+ days. Then nothing. 8/2 "Truck problems". 8/6 still no cleanup, no progress or plan forward. Front walkway/door inaccessible. 8/10 prelim notice from unpaid concrete supplier. Contractor finally shows up again - bricklayer quit, can't find another or a subcontractor. 9/6 release from concrete supplier and an employee sent to do some cleanup. Agree to close out contract for $16,000 paid with no retaining walls, slots in ramps for inlay brick still needing grinding to proper depth, no banister on steps, major cleanup undone."
