He didn't try to creep the scope during the course of the work and understood our financial constraints. When the wall repair was much more involved than initially estimated, he brought it up but didn't demand reimbursement. I offered compensation based on what we agreed was fair but didn't feel pressured. My only suggestion would be to work with George on every detail beforehand as I had made some assumptions about aesthetics that may not have been particularly conventional but hadn't communicated them to George. Showing images of how you'd want something to look when it's done will go far in insuring you get what you're after. That having been said I was given some good advice from Felipe on what the height of the kitchen backsplashes should be in our particular case, and from George on which grout would be best suited for our floors and have no regrets having followed those suggestions. In our case, we supplied most of the materials as per George's recommendations. If you want your project to move as quickly as possible, I'd suggest making a list with George of what materials you'll need, what you'll be picking up and what he'll be picking up, and having everything ready on the first day because they waste no time in getting the work done. In short, both George and his colleague, Felipe, work very efficiently with a high level of craftsmanship and I'll hire them again the next time I need tile work done."

"Today, Kris and one of his employees came to remedy my complaints.  He explained that he hired a tile layer (who did my job) through a general contractor who he often works with and offered to find the same limestone and have someone else replace the tiles that were gouged, chipped and not layer evenly at no additional cost.  The other alternative was to sand down the lip of the poorly placed tiles and grout.  I chose the later. In addition, they cleaned and grouted areas that they missed before.  
Kris was eager to remedy the problems I identified and put me on his schedule to clean my limestone floors next year at no charge.  He is truly and gentleman, eager to do a good job for me, who had the misfortune of a couple of problem employees who no longer work with him."

"The work was performed as promised on time and excellent quality. They did an excellent job of covering all floors including stairs from outside to the work site and cleaned up perfectly when finished. The end result was substantially better then the original. The price was somewhat higher than other offers but worth the extra."

"Dave did an awesome job cleaning our carpet. We had three rooms done of about 410 square feet of carpet. First he applied a pre-treatment that I believe helps emulsify the dirt, then he comes with his steam and vacuum wand and goes to it. It took him maybe 45 minutes and the results were great! He brought in a mop to make sure any wet spots are removed form hard floors, but there really wasn't any to speak of. Overall, I am very happy with the job he did!
