You have to shop around.    I was getting the same prices from all installers, but Innovative Garage Doors were the only ones using the Hormann Garage Doors, We went with the Orion 3200 and the door is solid, better Insulation value of R9.8 (due to 2" thickness) compared to others 1.75"  with R Values at around R6.   So that is one plus.  We also gotten the Liftmaster 8550 which is just superb product.  - Compared to other lower end products given by others at the same pricer.  Door opens super smoothly and are very very Quiet! .   So all in all ... You have to Shop around.  We feel that we stumbled upon great company, and great products! <br /> Love our new doors, house looks sharper,  and garage looks cleaner Inside and out. due to slick installation that Dan and Dan did!  Great Company to deal with.  My only regret is that an old piece of Wooden Molding is showing up on the front of the door, I will now have to be more careful about stripping it down from old white paint and recoat it.  I was thinking the new Aluminum/Plastic molding would cover it over completely.   <br /> Also from the inside of the garage, in full sun there are no visible "light" going through anywhere on the door - meaning the door are super tight and will be big help keeping the cold out in the winter and cool in the summer.  <br /> Overall Superb service and product!  10/10 <br />"

"The handyman Les was personable and friendly  but he erred in following a couple of the directions.  Also he was an exceedingly slow worker.  I trusted him to do the job right in a timely manner.  It  certainly didn't 'go down' that way.  We both failed to watch the installation DVD.  Instead he studied the instruction manual and did what it said (I hope), in such a slow manner that he ran the clock out to four hours.  After his departure, over the following two days,  I read the instruction manual (to have a better idea of the unit's operation)  and also viewed the DVD.  There is <strong>no way</strong> this project should have taken four hours!  More like two hours, maybe three, max,  if unfamiliar with the brand and product.  I <strong>sorely regret</strong> that I did not 'ride herd' on him and help him and push him along.  I should have watched him and the clock like a hawk.  Furthermore,  I should have told him at the beginning that I am with Angie's list and that I wanted the project done in less than three hours.  (Oh, hindsight is 20/20.)   <br />  I  have felt mental and emotional anguish over this experience  for 48 hours afterwards.  I 'm writing this report for the sake of some kind of closure. <br /> This is the first and last time I will use this particular company.  I will not  recommend him to anyone. <br /> <br /> <strong><em>UPDATE:</em></strong>  He addressed my concerns and issues and reached an amicable resolution.  Involved with that was making restiution with regard to what I considered an overcharge by giving me a refund.  I have changed the letter grades as a result of our resolution. <br /> <br />  "
