We needed to remove popcorn ceiling from our 2500 sq ft house followed by refloating (skim coating) all the walls, followed by painting all walls and ceilings. Overall I'm very happy with the products and service.  They had to reschedule a few times but they always called or texted to let me know.  it was only a few days so not like they pushed it out a month but they did push a few times.

Once they arrived Edgar spent a lot of time with us talking about what we wanted.  We ended up spending more than we planned but we ended up going with a high end sound bar.  He came for the initial visit and then scheduled the work for the next week.

The guys mounted the TV over the fireplace and they added apple tv and a sound bar.  They were able to mount the apple tv and the  ATT cable box behind the tv so we no longer have a stereo cabinet we have to deal with.

They did mount the tv too low the first time so the IR receiver was covered but the soundbar so the remote didn't work.  By the time we realized the problem they had already gone but we called them and they came right back and corrected it and remounted everything.  The guys were very friendly and professional.

"I hired an architect and an structural engineer (a city requirement for new construction in Austin) to design the structure and then began shopping the produced plans around. Acting as my own GC, I fully expected to have to hire different subcontractors for demolition, foundation, framing and cornice, painting, electrical, and roofing. I reached out to Jon Wehr, owner of Rawskos Renovations, and was pleasantly surprised that with the exception of electrical, he was willing to bid on the project as a whole with me as the GC. Rawskos prices are fair, about mid way between a large-scale commercial contractor and a guy you found on Craigslist or in the Home Depot parking lot. As with any construction project, you sort of expect a certain amount of flakiness from your subcontractors, miscommunications, no shows, inflated hours or extras charges, but not with Rawskos. The crew were professional and courteous, prompt, thorough, and gave plenty of advanced notice as to scheduling. In fact, we faced battles with the local power company, the city inspectors, and my own architect and engineer, all of which caused unforeseen delays. If not for the flexibility and willingness of the crew to quickly shift gears and do some unaffected part of the job while we waited for clearance, approvals, passed inspections, or missing structural validation reports, this job would have failed dramatically. Jon's estimate for completion was about two months for this project and it finished in just about three months. However, if you subtract out the two week delay caused by discrepancies with power company spotter's approved clearance, 5 days delay caused by the city incorrectly filing our application as a renovation instead of new construction, ten days it took to get a Foundation and Framing Validation report from my engineer that should have taken 30 minutes to write, not to mention a 2 week delay in materials caused by Hurricane Harvey, you can see that Rawskos stayed on task and kept busy, without ever having to put the job on hold or take time off (except during the three days of the actual hurricane). I also wanted to mention that the team constantly made recommendations that enhanced the final outcome or addressed design shortcomings throughout the project. As a beginner GC, I needed a little coaching and they were more than willing to accommodate to ensure they had the materials and design decisions they needed in advance, which kept the project rolling pretty much at full steam."

"Twins was very quick to respond to my request. I had an estimate within days and after receiving other bids that took longer I chose them based on price and my gut feeling. I needed a day to clean up my garage but they started very quickly and replaced the damaged ceiling drywall and reinforced the others with screws (it was originally nails) and re taped the ceiling. Should get another 39 years out of it. I was pleased with the service and asked for a price to put paint primer on the ceiling. We agreed on a price and they completed the job a few days later. Great work. Twins did a great job of cleaning up after in both jobs. I would definitely use them in another job. Good work at a reasonable price. Jim"
