".He asked if there were any other items I needed done while he was there.  I had him add a plug receptacle outside in my back yard  and he replaced a good portion of the electrical power box in my house becauese it was no longer up to code.  I checked into it to make sure he wasn't selling me a bill of goods.  It did need to be updated.
It was a lot more than I was planning to spend but I feel like it was the right decision.

"Excellent experience. Had 2 TVS mounted, 1 over the fireplace and 1 in the bedroom. They went out of their way to find the right mount for one of them(took them one hour to find and get it to house). Did not charge for the time. Cleaned up great. Very efficient. Price was reasonable. Sent two techs. Will highly recommend."
Once the cabinet and shelves were installed, we came back and used a laser leveling tool to make sure the TV was installed perfectly.
The articulating arm allows the TV to be rotated toward the swimming pool.
Client had built-in cabinets installed in their remodeled living room and we installed the Samsung FrameTV and Sonos Arc.
The Klipsch speakers have cerametallic woofers that sound amazing.
We ran conduit around the swimming pool and installed three pairs of Sonnance outdoor speakers and an underground subwoofer.

"I was extremely impressed with the electrician's professionalism as well as his knowledge of how to complete the installation in a space that was not previously wired and had concrete ceilings.  He was very thorough and was reasonable with the cost of the supplies needed to complete the installation.  I would highly recommend him to friends and will call him again for any future electrical needs I have in my home.

Phillip and his crew were the utmost in professionalism. We had gotten a rough estimate of what would be entailed along with a time estimate in June. Because he was tied up with other projects, he explained that he would not start until the middle to end of July. We really appreciated the fact that he did not start the job and keep it lingering as we have heard some other contractors do.

When the crew showed up in mid July, they got right to work and each day they were there, we could see progress made. Philip is a bit of a perfectionist and that is so great because he is also an artist and wants the work to be great and to last a long time.

The crew was neat and cleaned up the job site as the work was progressing. Because we had a few periods of rain, we had a bit of a delay in getting the gator grout laid on the paths, but he communicated when we could expect he and his team by phone and/or email so that we could plan accordingly.

When the work was done, we were so pleased to come home to find that our driveway and deck had been pressure washed! (That was a bonus for my husband who was able to seal them both over the weekend.)

The work is top notch. I no longer have a mud pit on the side of the house for our dogs to dig in and drag to our tile; the 3 dogs actually love having a new "ramp" for running and chasing in the rest of the yard.

The larger path is level with our deck and has actually expanded our area for entertaining and relaxing outdoors.

They will be back in a week or two to lay the final sealant and we expect that we will be able to enjoy this in our backyard for a long time. We highly recommend Phillip and his team. We have shared this with our neighbors, who have said how beautiful the work is.

"I scheduled the work for the Monday after superbowl Sunday, which was probably not the best plan.  The 2 workers scheduled to do the work both called in sick.  They got another crew to come by in the after noon to look at the job and determine what needed to be done.  They came back on Tuesday and completed most of the job.
I was very pleased with how they removed the rotten sub floor and put in replacement supports and plywood.  They installed the new door, and trim.
One of the workers had to leave and they were gone when I got home.  There was a 1/4 inch gap between the new door and the outside brick, they did not clean up very much ( sawdust and unused lumber ) and did not haul away the old door.  They also did not install one of the metal plates in the door frame for the deadbolt lock.
I sent an email the next day with pictures of what needed to be done, they were supposed to come back and complete the job but did not show or call.  I called their office and they did come out and finish the job ( except for hauling away the old door).
I would say they are affordable, they have coupons available and they let me decide which one I wanted to use after the job was done.  I am pleased with the work they did.  Scheduling was a challenge."

FAQs for outdoor lighting plan and installation projects in Redan, GA

Permit requirements for outdoor lighting vary depending on your location and project scope. Simple fixture replacements don't require permits, but projects involving new electrical circuits, extensive trenching, or significant system expansions often do. Local building departments establish these requirements, and many professional electricians handle permit applications as part of their service package.

The timeline for outdoor lighting installation varies based on project complexity. Basic systems might require only one to two days for complete installation, while extensive lighting networks with numerous fixtures and complex wiring needs could extend to a week or longer. Weather conditions, property accessibility, and soil characteristics can all influence how quickly professionals can complete your installation.

Outdoor lighting offers both practical and aesthetic benefits that many homeowners find valuable. Beyond enhancing nighttime visibility and security, well-designed lighting can highlight architectural features and extend outdoor living hours. While installation represents a significant investment, quality lighting may potentially increase property appeal and could contribute to overall home value.

Some outdoor lighting projects are suitable for homeowner installation, particularly simple solar fixtures or low-voltage systems that plug into existing outlets. However, projects requiring new electrical connections, permanent wiring, or integration with home electrical systems demand professional expertise. Electrical work carries inherent safety risks, and improper installation could create fire hazards or code violations.

The operating cost for outdoor lighting depends primarily on your fixture types, bulb selection, and usage patterns. Energy-efficient LED fixtures consume significantly less electricity than traditional incandescent or halogen alternatives. Controlling your lighting with timers, photocells, or motion sensors can further reduce energy usage by ensuring lights operate only when needed or beneficial.
