"OMG! Garage door would go up. Couldn't get my car out. Called at 730am, right when they opened and someone was at my house by 9. They said I needed new springs and fixed it the same day! 150% would recommend! Thank you so much!"

"Overall the experience was very positive. The company was able to make the service call within a couple days. They offered an excellent discount on their website, and the resulting price was reasonable. The serviceman was very professional and personable. There was no attempt to recommend unnecessary services. The garage door opener now performs better than when it was first installed."

"<p>They did excellent work. It could have cost me a lot more. He had a worker at the time that was not real enthusiastic, but did a good job. Anytime I have worked with the owner he has been very professional. He came out on a weekend and did it for me. That's very good. I have no problems and I would use them again. </p>"

"They have been really good to work with.  They were on time.  They were good and respectful.  I have been really pleased with them.   <br /> <br /> I don't have anything to compare the price to.  I don't know the quality yet but so far I will give them an "A" and I don't have any reason to give them less.  They called me when they were late."

"The project started over a year ago and still has another year until completion, so I might be jumping the gun here, but I've consistently been so impressed with Encompass and their guys that I thought it warranted a good review sooner than later. The project is going great though. They always come in with the best prices for the quality of work they offer and are very self sufficient. Not to mention they have great communication with the staff and I whenever something comes up that could affect a current or future resident."

FAQs for garage door installation and replacement projects in Redmond, OR

Yes, you can replace just one panel if your door is sectional and the damaged panel is available. Most modern residential garage doors have four to six horizontal panels that can be individually replaced. However, finding an exact match becomes challenging for older doors or discontinued styles. For doors over 15 to 20 years old or with multiple damaged panels, a complete door replacement might be more practical and visually consistent.

Minor dents or cosmetic damage can often be repaired without replacing the entire panel, potentially saving you money. However, if the damage affects the door's operation, security, or structural integrity, replacement is often a better investment.

For extensive damage to multiple panels or older doors where matching is difficult, full door replacement might be more economical in the long run than multiple individual panel replacements.

Your garage door panel might be repairable if the damage is superficial and doesn't affect functionality. Small dents in aluminum panels, minor scratches, or cosmetic issues often don't require full replacement. However, replacement is often necessary if the panel is warped, has large holes, shows extensive rust, or affects how the door operates. A professional garage door technician can evaluate the damage and recommend whether repair or replacement offers the best value and durability.
