"The owner, Daniel Shaigau, came to provide me an estimate and from the 1st meeting was courteous and professional. The quote was competitive with other vendors and with outstanding reviews I selected them to complete the work. The installers were incredibly hard workers and provided good communication during the process. We asked them to match a color sample and Daniel and his crew did an incredible job and provided several sample variations to choose from. The completed job was outstanding. I would highly recommend them and would certainly use them again for any future project. 19K Project."

"It was budget friendly! Alex, the owner and Edwin, the manager was in contact throughout the process. We're happy with the LVP material they provided. Installer guy did a great job. He was polite and professional and completed the installation in one day. We definitely recommend this company."

"The fellow that did the cleaning was very personable and did an excellent job. The tub surround required a lot of extra work because the tiles had been sealed. Both the bathroom and the kitchen floors look great. I will hire Pure Clean again and I will recommend them to my friends."

"Once again we called Revive Carpet and Upholstery Cleaners. They've rescued our carpeting from several exciting and active visits from out-of-town grandchildren over the years and restored it after a remodeling fiasco. They're a family business so we can't ever surprise them with a carpet catastrophe that they haven't encountered before or experienced themselves."

" Customer service: Excellent. Trust Ed to help you pick the right carpet and also find a special one. Capet for bedroom: excellent, fast, efficient take away of old, effective movement of furniture, and installation was perfect. Separate carpet for living room: Ed found the perfect brick red, and the twins installed a perfectly bound rug, moved and replaced furniture, left a bound runner for the kitchens. Outstanding. (Our second job -- our first years ago was new flooring in hall, living room, kitchen and dining room -- great job, that's why we went to Macadam again --can't go wrong)"

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Redmond, WA

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
