"Within a day or two of our inquiry, owner/manager Kyle Hodges was here to evaluate our problem and give an estimate for the work he discussed with us. Although we live in a townhouse, the record-breaking Maryland rainfall and the slant of the front lawn toward our foundation had caused serious water build up at our foundation and threat to overflow into the basement.. For several weeks we had been bailing rainwater round the clock from the trench that had formed at the front of our home and using dozens of paper towel rolls to absorb water. Kyle saw the seriousness of the problem, brought his co-worker Matt who would do the work to help plan their project and scheduled a date. Matt was excellent and very thorough. So far the work they did has solved the problem successfully, and we look forward to their return in the spring for more corrective landscaping. "Outdoor Advantage performed landscaping work at my residence on May 5, 2020. The “landscape artists” did an outstanding job. The work consisted of removing bushes and shrubs from four separate areas in the front, back, and side of the home. In the front they redefined the flower bed and planted several different types of shrubs and plants. They also added mulch to finish up the flower bed. In the back and sides, they replaced the flower beds with sod. They also provided a walkway using flat stones. The landscape was performed on time and very professionally. The men used the extra sod to cleanup some problem areas around the base of my sunroom. The really nice surprise was how they neatly trimmed the sod to fit around the irregular stones that made up the walkway. They also used some sod to clean up uneven areas around some popup drains at the back end of the yard. After the work was complete all work was cleaned up and it was if they had never been there. It was a joy working with this company. I would highly recommend this company and plan to use them again in the fall for additional work."

"They are very good. They cut the grass last Monday. We used them regularly. The approximate cost of service I think it was $43 a week. That's for the lawn timing and that's once a week when it is needed. The other thing they do is they fertilize the yard and seed it and then before they do that they spray the weeds and then just about a little less than a month ago they cleaned the yard, the leaves and twigs that are fallen and stuff and like that. We used them for everything yard work. It's kinda like a process then they do kind of everything and the sum result cut the lawn and things like that. They are very professional. They are always on time. I wish it cost a little less but I think that's the way it goes with lawn care. It's really a good job so pretty satisfied with everything. The quality of work is very good. They are very good because they have those blower things so the driveway is always clean. They do the edging and then driveway is always because they blow any grass away so it's always neat. I pay $43 a week whenever they cut the grass. Now, if we did find that they don't need to cut it, it's raining or whatever they have to charge for that so we will be charged and actually cut it. It does add up if you don't think it does but it does add up after the end of the month. They bill you monthly. Yes, I think this is our third season with them."

"Mr. Ireland showed up on time to get the information for his estimate. He was very professional and we discussed several options. I received the estimate in a timely manner. While making my decision, Mr. Ireland answered many phone calls and emails regarding the proposed work and provided me with a reference so I could see his work first hand. The landscapers showed up timely and worked all day on my yard. They did an excellent job of cleaning up the area when finished. Mr. Ireland stopped by to check on the progress."

"I needed to have 6 Eastern White Pines and 1 Spruce tree remove along my property line between me and my neighbor's driveways.The white pines were about 50 years old and  30 to 50 feet tall.  Also along the pine trees was a stone wall .  Freestate Tree Removal's quote was the best price of four estimates I received.  They arrived at the time they said they would and completed the job that day.  They cut the trees down, chipped all resulting brush and debris.  They even removed an existing pile of debris that I had accumulated from fallen limbs due to an ice storm.  They loaded and hauled away all the logs which could not be chipped.  All 7 stumps were removed.  The area was raked and blown clean of debris.  Watching the professional way in which they protected our driveways and the expert protection of the wall was a sight to behold.  I would highly recommend Freestate Tree Service to anyone."
