These varied projects required not only excellent carpentry but also innovative thinking to resolve some of the construction issues involved in this quirky old house. We were expecting to have to replace the deck but he convinced us it would be better, and more cost effective, to instead refinish the old cedar boards, replacing only a few boards--and he was right. He could have charged us more for new decking, but didn't--this impressed us. He's honest, reliable, and good at solving problems."

What I thought was a small repair to the soffits under my roof, was actually tell-tale signs of a leak surrounding my skylights. Rather than doing a superficial patch job, Zura took detailed pictures of my problem and sent them back to Mr. Handyman headquarters for further analysis. As suspected, I had roof problems that Mr. Handyman was not licensed and bonded to repair. They took the time to explain why and made recommendations as to what needed to be done.
