In fact, he talked me OUT of having any actual work done by showing me simple fixes to problems that have been plaguing me for quite some time. Frequent trips on dining room circuit were due to too many incandescent bulbs. Flickering lights in another chandelier were due to a loose connection. A "rewiring" problem was fixed by simply plugging something into a different (less vulnerable/loaded) outlet. There were some other things he showed me as well, but the approach was the same: incredible troubleshooting to find the lowest/no-cost solution. Malvern did all this without making me feel like an idiot, which would have been appropriate given that "user error" was the closest thing to a common denominator across these varied issues. "We've used Markarian several times for some biggish to smallish projects. They are professional and very responsive. In two cases some unforeseen complications developed. On one of them they felt it was their fault and corrected the situation at no charge despite the big job it entailed. On the second it was a problem one of their subcontractors unwittingly created, and they came back and fixed it free of charge when I provided them the invoice of their subcontractor. I might not use them for a very small job as they charge based on the written estimate they provide and not on the time it actually turns out to take. But for a medium-sized or larger job, I will always call on them. Their deep expertise and responsiveness are well worth the money. And the contractors are friendly, polite, do a great clean-up and wear booties to protect the floors."

They performed a complex job of installing an e v charger at the opposite end of the house from the electrical box which required snaking wires and conduit to conceal everything. Additionally they installed a whole house search protector. So impressed my wife had asked them to come back and do about 12 additional small jobs from repairing a bathroom vent light fan to installing and repairing outlets throughout the interior and exterior of the house.
