"Bill and Ray were easy to work with. They had good ideas, were very accommodating, knowledgable and experienced. The install team (Frank and guys) did an amazing job. They had very high standards, took pride in their work, and were respectful of us and our property. They communicated well. The quality of work was superior. They transformed our backyard into a beautiful area. They installed synthetic grass, lots of pavers, a dry creek bed along with plants and boulders. We highly recommend them for your landscape project."

"Working with Chavez Concrete was a great experience - the team members were always on time, courteous, and professional. Wriley was very helpful and a good listener, especially since we didn't know exactly what we wanted. They removed and hauled away a lot of sand (base for the pavers), then set forms and poured the concrete. They returned in two days and cleaned, then sealed the concrete to give a wet look we like, even offering to return the next day for a second coat if needed."

"Eric and his team were very professional and did an amazing job! We had hardwood flooring installed throughout our new house and new tile put into the kitchen and laundry area. They worked with me every step of the way in figuring out what I wanted and getting it done in a timely manner and at a very reasonable price. Couldn’t be happier with my new floors! Will most definitely be using him for future projects and recommending him to friends and family."

"After the inspection was performed, Vernon, call me right away. He informed me of the extent of the foundation damage , and what was the root cause of it. The house was recently flipped, and his photos showed the poor quality of workmanship by the company, heat ducting smashed closed, no pads for blocking if the floor beams, a portion of the crawl space was so narrow, it would only be able to be accessed from the top side.He also provided me with a verbal ball park estamate on what it would take to correct these problems."

"The work went well and on schedule. During the digging of the trench for the wall foundation, the contractor had to cut through tree roots which was handled well. Also, the final cleanup and debris removal was very complete. Good follow through."

"In the Southwest, you have a flat roof home, and there are three poles and poles going across the top of the porch holding it up. Those poles were rotted, so they replaced them. They put in the best roof money can buy on a flat roof home. The only issue I had was that it was hard to get receipts from them. The work was fine. Dave, that owns the company, is a great guy. They are dependable. I am going to use them to do some tile work for me."

"Lobo Custom Concrete laid a 114 ft. concrete driveway and
carport pad for us last fall. It curves down from the street to our garage and
new carport. It looks great and has worked well for the base of the carport
that is just now being completed by another company. David is very much a
people person and was here each day with his crew letting us know what they
were doing. If we looked puzzled or unsure about something, he was quick to
come over to ask if we had questions or concerns. Lobo Custom Concrete was a
pleasure to work with and we would use them again for any further concrete
needs."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Albuquerque, NM

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
