"In general, it went well. Everyone from Huft was very professional. The salesperson could not tell me the brand of water heater that would be installed. I had responded to ad on Angie's list. I should have paid attention to this. In the past, sales reps from other companies could tell me the brand name of the product, and if it qualified for a rebate. The product that was installed is an excellent product, but doesn't qualify for a rebate. The service personnel were all very polite and professional. What I would have done differently is pursued finding out the brand name of the product before it was installed and found out if it qualified for any SMUD rebates before making the purchase. In general, I would give Huft an excellent rating for service. They came back two days later when the water heater wasn't producing hot water, and installed new fuses. The technician was very professional and courteous. As a consumer, remember to jot down as many questions as possible before you meet with the contractor."

"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. Just one day to take the old furnace away, replace all the old boots and duct work and install the new furnace. They paid a lot of attention not to damage or dirty the floor/carpet.
