"We hired Functional Floors to refinish the hardwood floors in our new home and install new wood in areas where there was none. Unfortunately, what should have been a straightforward project turned into a very disappointing experience involving poor communication, questionable decisions made during the work and a finished product that required multiple attempts to fix. Throughout the project, decisions were made by the crew without asking us how we wanted things handled. Those decisions resulted in visible filler, patched areas, and other issues in our newly refinished floors that required them to come back out and attempt repairs. For a project of this size and cost, we expected much better attention to detail and communication. When we raised concerns, the crew lead who originally did the work was confrontational and not helpful in resolving the situation. "They came in and laid my whole house except for my kitchen and dining room and about 6 hours that's taking up old carpeting moving furniture everything I'm very pleased with the job I did just have a service guy here because I was having problems in my bathroom the planks had shifted out from underneath the metal strip along the bathtub but they fixed it in the blink of an eye and that issue shouldn't arise again Stefan was a wonderful repair guy I would recommend and have recommended refloor to other people they did all the bedrooms in my oldest sister's house in Painesville Ohio"

"Midgard Services installed LVP in my entry, and hallways. The tile I chose was large (16" x32") and Brad took the time to explain the best layout (since the hallways are adjacentj). He proceeded to take out his laser to find the true center of each area and stalled the tile seams down true center. I couldn't be happier with the installation. Unlike the other contractors who quoted, Brad suggested a finished look without quarter round which gave a much cleaner look (of course this was more difficult that slapping down quarter round). He estimated 4-days to complete the job and put in a 12-hour final day to ensure the job was done on time! I definitely will hire Midgard Services for some upcoming projects! "
