"They were exemplary! I've never owned a generator and after their visit, I already feel like a pro. The price was agreed upon during the first visit when they came to see exactly what needed to be done. (This first visit was without charge because of being an Angie's List member.) AFTER the electrical work was done, they not only took the time to teach me how to safely hook up the generator and manipulate the circuit box, but we did a full run through to make sure I knew how to do everything COMFORTABLY and to make sure we knew for a fact what I can and can't run when the next hurricane arrives. (They even took the generator from the box and assembled the last few items for me.) The best part was that I did not have to ask. THEY wanted to make sure I was completely comfortable so if/when the next hurricane arrives, getting power back to my house will be done quickly and with ease. "From the initial contact to the job completion, Allstar Electric gets an A+!!! Kate called to talk about my needs for repair. She was able to accommodate my tight scheduling needs and was able to get a tech out there the very next day, (A Saturday, no less) Brittney called with about a 45 minute eta for the tech. Shawn, the tech, then called me with about a 20 minute eta. Kate explained to me, on the initial call, that there wasn't a trip fee, which I appreciate. Once Shawn diagnosed the problem, he was able to fix the problem for under $300! (The first quote I received was upwards of $1,200 and there was talk of needing to rewire and cut into the drywall) He was in and out within 2 hours of arriving at my home! Jeremy is an awesome representative for this company.  He was punctual, polite and had to come back several times to finish the scope of the work I kept changing and kept me informed as to times when he would be coming back.

Originally I had booked them to come out and take my existing equipment and put it back together after I got a new entertainment console.  After Jeremy came in and started to hook my older 11+ year old equipment back up I decided to upgrade my equipment.  He told me what he felt that I would need by listening to how I use my entertainment area.  He recommended equipment that did not break my pocketbook.  Jeremy set that up, moved TV's into different rooms and then hung a TV in my kitchen adding both electrical and cable to that area.  I was elated.  When he was finished I decided instead of using my old speakers that were wall mounted (11 years old) that I thought I might want to do new speakers.  Again looking at my needs we went with in ceiling speakers and also added another zone out in my living room - we put two new speakers out there so I could play music and other programs out in my living room through my new Yamaha receiving unit (which does airplay, Bluetooth, Pandora etc).  When I moved my internet TV to the master bedroom and added a Ring Doorbell to my house my internet signal strength was not strong they had a relatively cost affective solution by adding an Access Point in the center of my house - I get strong internet everywhere now.  With adding speakers and the access point Jeremy had to work with the existing surround sound wiring and add to it.  He also did the drywall repair where my old speakers were attached to the wall  and you can't even tell there was repairs done.

I can not speak highly enough about this company and the service that I received.  I like that Jeremy could do everything, i.e. electrical, cable wiring and dry wall repair.  I didn't have to have 3 different vendors tracking through my house.  Everything works finally the way it should.  I have worked with three other companies in the past and this is the first time I really feel that Jeremy knew what to do to make my older unit work,  but what I ended up with is so much more usable and how it should work.  I can recommend this company 110% and not feel any hesitation in doing so, both for purchasing product from them to the level of service I received.
