"Avoid this business. I hired them for an AV, shades, Vitrea/DMF lighting control project with a project value in excess of $100k. After more than 5 months, none of the items except the soundbar work as intended. The shades work intermittently. The lightning controls and DMF took months to get and installed and still there are missing/unfinished items and an electrical control box that is absolute mess. Jeff, the owner sells you on a vision of â  making technology simple â  , however, nothing is simple. Jeff promises to â  make things rightâ  , but a great cost of inconvenience to me and my family living in a construction project for 5 months. The whole project was supposed to be controlled by a Bang and Olufsen BeoLiving Intelligence control that has yet to be installed and integrated. The project management has been a disaster from day one. I had to have multiple drywall repairs and painters come to repair walls and paint after the work was done at a cost of several thousand dollars to me. Save yourself lots of grief and choose another business. Update 11-21-23 The project still isn't complete. They schedule appointments then never show up. The Vitrea lighting project still isn't finished. This project is now more than a year in the making and still not done. Avoid this place at all costs. Others have had the same experience. Update 3-25-2024 The project still isn't complete. I have made multiple attempts to contact the business and they are unresponsive. It is beyond my comprehension how the business can have 5-star reviews. The reviews can only be fake. I have spoke with multiple customers and they have had the same experience."

"Excellent work. We had a whole house sound system, internet and data installed and a couple of TVs wall mounted. Dan is extremely knowledgeable and gave us great suggestions on what the best system for us would be. Brandon and Justin did an amazing job with the installation. They were highly professional, kind and patient with all of our many questions. They take pride in their work and they strive for perfection. We were truly impressed and had a great experience. "I hired Rick and his crew to remodel a bathroom, reconfigure a closet to accommodate a one- piece washer and dryer combination to replace an old combination unit and sheetrock holes from vents from an HVAC system that had been updated to mini splits. As you can imagine, when opening up walls in an older building, there were issues. I was always kept abreast of those issues, informed of what COULD be done and given their suggestions of how to rectify the problem so I could make informed decisions. I was kept in constant contact in person or by phone or text. I was really surprised and pleased at how clean they left the job inside and out. The end result is beyond my expectations. I will definitly call them for my next project. I love the fact that I now have laundry facilities at home and much needed storage in a small bathroom."

"I initially hired Mr.Handyman to investigate and fix a leak around my window. They told me on the phone based on the photos I provided that the estimate for the job will be about $775 to find and fix the source of the leak and replace the drywall. I believe they use predatory and deceitful practices to inflate the final pricing, as it ended up being far higher than original estimates. When their handyman showed up, the estimate changed to $1010. I was never verbally informed that any of these estimates did not include materials. After removing the drywall, the handyman never found the source of the leak. I had to drive out to the property to find and fix it myself. I then called the handyman to re-install the drywall after the issue was fixed. I was then given another invoice for $977, so now we are at a total $1433, of which they claim $371 is materials. They never found or fixed the actual issue as promised but still charged for the full job. I thought we were being overcharged, since the original estimate was for finding and fixing the actual source of the leak, which they never did. When I questioned the materials charge and asked for receipts, their manager told me he would not send me any receipts even though they have them in the system because "its not their protocol" and that they put an upcharge on materials. When I questioned how much % the upcharge is, or if they can provide actual pricing of the materials, he said “when you buy at Publix, you don't ask them how much they upcharge for your food". This makes no sense, as at the store I see the price before I buy something, so I can decide if I want to buy it. Mr.Handyman never provided me with pricing of materials upfront, they just sent me one final price at the end without a breakdown of materials purchased, which they can make up to be anything. This is highly unethical. If this is a cost-plus contract, they should be providing receipts."

"I meet with Steve and told him what I needed done and that I was on a time line. He said no problem. I spoke to him a few days before start date and all seemed fine. The morning before he was to start the remodeling he canceled and said he wasn’t going to do the remodel."
