"I called the answering service on a Friday night and the lady told me that they would have someone at my house within 30 minutes. She also told me that there wasn't any up charge for weekends. "We discovered a burst pipe and gushing water after very cold conditions on the Friday afternoon before New Year's weekend. Called Randy blind from the Home Advisor list after finding two other firms unavailable due to the holiday. (Vanmar reviews are excellent, and here is another.) On the next (Saturday) morn, he dropped everything and arrived about an hour after getting our call. He knew exactly what to do, actually helped us move water-damaged contents from the area, pulled down the damaged drywall from the ceiling, and proceeded to repair the pipe very quickly. Our problem was fixed and water running properly within an hour or so after he arrived. Fabulous and very reasonable fee! He also performs handyman work so we plan to call Vanmar back for more work as needed."
