"Tim and his team exceeded every expectation I have. I am an educated consumer of home improvement services and have contracted for numerous projects over the past 10 years in a 100 year old bungalow. The TDH team was the easiest and by far the best to work with of all contractors. They responded within an hour to my initial request and was on site the same day to inspect the site and assess my needs. We discussed numerous options at all price points and decided on a complete replacement of the water heater, hot water heat boiler and the piping. I had final quotes in less that 3 hours and they responded within hours with any question I have. They were able to schedule the work within 2 weeks. The On-site team of Chris, Bernie, and Zeorge also installed a two zone system with computerized controls attached to two smart thermostats. The work was scheduled to 2 days of on site activity. "We actually had called Emanuel Brothers first since their name was on the water heater. But, after the amount of time and money they quoted us I decided to check Angie's. We had John come out and take a look and he told us he could do the same work for almost $800.00 less! I can't say I didn't have some trepidation. First, just how is it possible to do so much less work than we were told would be necessary (we had 2 water heaters. Neither of which worked after nearly 20 years, that had to be removed first to make room). And, for so much less. Emanuel Brothers were so perplexed by our situation that they had to call the boss to come out and explain everything to us. But, John had this "no problem" kinda attitude. "First and foremost, Triton answered their phone and then spent about 20 minutes via phone with me to explain everything in detail.  They then quoted me the best price of all 6 companies I called.  (I also used an Angie's List coupon, though).  I wasn't sure if my Rental Property needed the water heater replaced so Leo brought an extra one in the truck "just in case".  After replacing the one at my residence, when we arrived at my rental property, he walked me through every detail of why that location also needed a new water heater.  They also gave me a rockin' deal because I purchased two of them - and had them both installed on the same day.   A few days later, I learned that I accidentally wrote them a wrong amount on the check.  When Leo called to explain the situation, he was calm, kind, and - again - explained my error in detail without being nasty.  Although I felt like an idiot, they were very nice about my mistake, and I put another check into the mail to them on my next payday.  They handled a difficult situation very well, as many contractors would have played the blame game.

"Water heater is 7 years old (nearing end of life).  Pilot light went out on Wednesday evening and we couldn't get it lit.  We called them and they would have come out late that night, but we said no, come out on Thursday.  They called Thursday morning at 9am and said they would be leaving their garage in 10 minutes, so they made it to our place by 9:30am.  Two guys came and put on booties before entering.  (I wish Comcast repairmen would do that!)  They got the pilot lit immediately, but after finding out how old the heater was plus our problems the previous night lighting it, they said the pilot might go out again very soon.  We also had that feeling.  So they wrote up 4 possibilities with their prices for us (as we had discussed going to a tankless system).  One of the options was replacing the thermocoupler for $427.  One was installing a new pilot assembly for $499.  One was installing a tankless water heater for $6000, and the last one was to install a 40 gal. water heater for $1,620.  We chose the pilot assembly, and after using the 10% off coupon that J. Blanton has on their Angie's site, the cost to us was $448.96.  We don't know if this is a good price or not, which is the reason we didn't grade the price.  The work was performed quickly and professionally.

"I had Azrikam Heating (Azrikam The Price Is Right Heating) out today replace a part on my hot water tank and to take a look at my HVAC. 1) I am a new customer and even with other calls Bernard still came out to service my home 2) there is no bs. Any other person would tell you replace a unit when a part goes bad and the unit is 10 yrs old but no. Bernard looked at my system (paired water tanks), took pics for future reference, replaced the part and let me know that there is plenty of life left with both units. 3) Bernard is just a down to earth good person looking to give good services and guidance in his area of expertise.
