"Matt and his team with MNB Renovations did a 32 x 24 addition that was basically a home build from the ground up. I am still surprised for the size of this project how stress free the process was. Matt was very detailed and checked in on everything to make sure we were getting what we wanted. In the end he asked us to make a list of anything that needed to be addressed and there was absolutely nothing to mention. They did a perfect job, the quality of the work is amazing, and the entire team was very nice, professional, and trustworthy! I absolutely recommend this company to others and will definitely use them again in the future!"

"They did an outstanding job!! Very professional and friendly and they worked clean. They asked me questions about placement of the sink and faucets and then they double checked just to make sure it was done the way I had asked. I will definitely be hiring them again!!"

"This was our second time working with Joyland on a full roof replacement and we couldn’t be happier! From start to finish, things went smoothly and professionally, and their communications with the customer were top notch. Ross initially met with us to assess the work to be done and was VERY thorough checking inside and out for any areas of concern that might not be easily visible. Conrad was very present and in touch as the project manager once the job was underway. They completed everything in 2.5 days, working around some rain in between and the cleanup of the property was immaculate. They fit in my job on super short notice due to travel constraints. Taylor and the office staff was very prompt in addressing any billing questions, and unlike another roofer who expected over 75% of the estimate to be paid UP FRONT before beginning the job, Joyland’s terms were completely generous on timing. HIGHLY recommend!!"

"Workmanship was very professional and the time from quoting the job to completion was minimal. We appreciate knowing their is a professional small business contractor willing to do repair and replacement projects for a homeowner in a prompt and skilled manner. Andy contacted us in advance with door and window styles as well as hardware choices to ensure our preferences were honored, and replacements matched perfectly."

"We are very happy with Lehman Exteriors’ work on our roof. Mr. Lehman did a great job replacing our old roof with a rubber roof. He was also very thorough in completing all the necessary repairs. We always call him for exterior work on our house and we highly recommend him!!"

"Serge was great! First, he came out and gave us an estimate within a few days. We had several others provide estimates but we chose Cozy Home, and I am glad we did. His price was the best; we felt the others were really overpriced for the kind of job it was. He was very easy to work with, and quickly responsive to communication - a real bonus! Our porch looks great. We plan to hire him for our next project."

"<p>They are absolutely wonderful. I am really delighted with their services. They are really wonderful people to work with, I think.</p> <p>I feel that 24/7 Handymen really tried very, very hard to make sure that the customer is satisfied. I feel as if they go out of their way to deliver a good product at a good price. I also feel that when they come in to talk with you for the first time, and to get a general idea as to what you need to have done, they listen to what you say. For example, in my situation, I really needed new bathrooms and a new kitchen. I had a limited amount of money that I was willing to spend for it. And they were wonderful at working with me to keep me within the budget - within the amount of money that I was willing to spend. And I think that's really important. </p> <p>Sometimes a contractor will come in and their focus is to get you to spend as much money as possible. Here, with 24/7, I explained what my long term plans are for the house, I explained how long I expect to be here, and what I wanted done, and the amount of money that I was willing to spend and they took it from there and they really, really ran with it.</p> <p>Something else that a prospective customer might want to be aware of is that they do try to think creatively to solve problems that might crop up. Fore example, in one of the bathrooms, we very much wanted some additional storage space. Actually, we wanted <em>some </em>storage space. The old bathroom had virtually none. Its a very, very small bathroom. This is a house that was built in the early 1970's and its a town house and there's not a lot of space in the bathrooms. They are all small. But the contractor was able to come up with a really good solution that worked and that was extremely reasonable in price. So it might not have given us as much storage space as we would have liked, but for the amount of money they we were willing to invest, it was a very good solution.</p> <p>In those situations where maybe they said 'I'll be there at 5 o'clock' and they weren't going to be able to make that because of getting tied up with something that happened earlier in the after noon, there was always a phone to call to say 'We have a bit of a problem. Would 6 o'clock work with you?'</p>"

"Val has an exquisite eye for the details of an old house: he lives in a beautifully restored one himself, and has a background as a skilled cabinet maker <br /> My partner and I are very involved with all renovations here: she's an interior designer and I'm an engineer.  <br /> We were extremely pleased with Val's attention to detail, sensitivity to what's architecturally appropriate, and willingness to problem solve and offer multiple solutions to the inevitable challenges that an old house (and its occupants) can pose.  Like many good things, Val's work is worth the wait. We had many frank discussions about schedules, deadlines, etc. and Val did all he could to accommodate us. Furthermore, he's enthusiastic about his craft, and  house restoration in general, and showed us several products and resources we hadn't known about before. <br /> I'll use the staircase rebuild as an example. We needed to replace a sloppily done set of stairs from the 1940s, in our 1820s farmhouse. The walls surrounding the stairs had several issues, to say the least. <br /> Val tackled the job, removed an unnecessary bump out in one wall, made a mock up of the stair treads and risers he proposed to build, procured some beautiful cherry stock  to fabricate them from, matched old moldings, veneer plastered the walls to make everything "age appropriate", and delivered a beautiful and very sturdy  replacement staircase. <br /> Our cherry plank floors are another example of  Val's willingness to tackle an unusual job. I had designed a radiant floor system for the ground floor of the original house and the addition that was constructed from 2010-2013. Val had never installed plank floor over radiant. I had done my homework about installation "do's and dont's", passed them on to Val, and the result has been plank floors that have not gapped or cupped, but just look terrific.  He made them look like they came with the original house. <br /> Val works solo, and generally seems to prefer time and materials to a fixed quote. Have a frank discussion with him about the project's budget and I believe you'll be very satisfied with his work. He is one of the hardest, steadiest workers I've known, and very meticulous, so you will get your money's worth..... <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Robesonia, PA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
