"Good communication, professional, courteous and clean up was thorough. We waited a few months before doing a rating to experience a few heavy rains. We are extremely happy with having a dry usable basement. We usually don't do ratings but All Ways Dry exceeded our expectations!"

"Communication was key on this project and Mark was absolutely on the ball. Day or night he took my calls and helped with any issues I had and walked me through the whole financing process of the project and helped me save money along the way. When I had an issue after the project was completed, they had someone back the next day to make it right. I'd absolutely recommend their services if you need foundation work or waterproofing"

"The estimate to waterproof our leak in the basement was very close to actual cost. Work performed has been the best solution any other company has done previously in other sections of our basement."

"After years of having a flooded basement we contacted Atlantic Coast Waterproofing. Gary, the owner, came to our home and explained the process he would use to guarantee (life time and transferrable) a dry basement. His explanation was very detailed and he answered all of our questions. The job was started promptly when scheduled and completed in the projected time frame. Plastic was draped over the basement contents to protect from dust, so the mess was minimal. All of the work was handled by the crew, Gary, Cody, Casey, Phil, and the very talented cement finisher, Richard. They cleaned the work site every day so that they were starting fresh the next day. The entire crew of Atlantic Coast Waterproofing possess a very strong work ethic. They are courteous, dependable, and considerate of their client's property. The saying "you get what you pay for", is very true in this case. The job exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Gary and his company for your waterproofing needs."

"Absolutely thrilled with the work Watertight Solutions did on our basement crack repair! From start to finish, they were professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. They explained everything clearly, worked efficiently, and left the area clean when they were done. Most importantly, the repair was done right and we have complete peace of mind now. I highly recommend Watertight Solutions to anyone needing basement or foundation work. "

"I had several quotes for a fairly extensive leak in my poured basement wall resulting from poor workmanship during the original construction. Several contractors told me the foundation would have to be dug up to do a proper repair. I was hoping for another solution so I called this company. They came out to look and I was immediately impressed with their professionalism and candor. The first rep did not try to pressure sell me and even expressed skepticism that they could fix the problem. He called in other resources from the company to inspect it and offer their assessments. After careful examination and consultation with each other they determined that sealing the wall from the inside was feasible. I waited until now to write this review so I could be honest about how it turned out. Well, it hasn't leaked a drop! I would recommend this company to anybody. They earned my trust and they saved me a lot of money and grief."

"Very good job when it was cold and worried about it cracking. Said he covered it by putting in additives so it wouldn't crack. Did some waterproofing and did what needed to be done. Put in p gravel along with it. Also did a driveway and put in a walk way. Everything he did was great and overall satisfied with everything. Handles it all and does it for a good price."

"ErieHome waterproofed my basement. The crew was polite, kind, and came in, did an excellent job in 3 days by digging a trench on the inside of the basement, removing the dirt from the bottom of the foundation, installed corrugated tubing, rock and then cement. They also installed a Humidex airpurifier and new sump pump with a backup pump. They cleaned up afterward. Any questions I had were answered in a respectful manor. I now have peace of mind knowing that I no longer have to monitor weather forecasts for rain or have to clean up anymore incoming water. The system is warranted for the life of the house and included within the price, which increased the value of my home."

"They did an excellent Job. They stuck to their timeline, which was important to me, they didn't slack or dawdle, they did a thorough job and made sure I was part of the project as well. One of the best qualities of the job and the company was I was able to speak to the owner in person and over the phone throughout the job. They were courteous and polite and inconvenienced our home lives as little as possible given the circumstances of the waterproofing/drainage line installation. They did add-on and provisional work as needed/requested, during the job, which was great. I didn't feel like I was a spectator in the whole process, I felt like I was involved in it. I also never felt like I was bullied into anything, some companies come in and try to push you into doing things you either don't want done or you don't agree with. The owner of the company was sure to make that not the case, he talked with me, explained things, listened to my input, added his own considerable knowledge and expertise but also listened to my ideas. Great company and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a basement waterproofing company NOT looking to rob you, oversell you, or ignore you. They did a great job, fixed the problem. They were expedient, professional, and affordable. Russ was an honest business owner, in every sense of the word, which you don't find too often these days. FAQs for foundation, basement or crawlspace waterproofing / encapsulation projects in Rochester Hills, MI

The most affordable way to waterproof your basement is with interior methods like waterproof paint, costing between $1 and $8 per square foot, or silicate concrete sealers priced at $4 to $6 per square foot. However, these solutions are only suitable for certain issues. If your basement moisture is due to more serious problems like a cracked foundation, you'll need more extensive (and costly) repairs.

Absolutely! Waterproofing your basement is a smart investment that can increase your home's value. By keeping your basement dry and free of moisture problems, you protect your home's structural integrity and make it more appealing to potential buyers. Plus, taking proactive measures now can prevent costly water damage repairs down the line.

The time required to waterproof a basement depends on the selected method. Some approaches to interior waterproofing, like paint or sealant, can be completed within a day. Installing new drains or weeping tiles will need at least two to three days of labor. Any forms of exterior waterproofing that require you to excavate land will require an additional three days of work to prepare the ground.

Yes, basement waterproofing can significantly increase your home's value. A dry, leak-free basement is a strong selling point for potential buyers, enhancing your property's desirability and market price. Investing in professional waterproofing not only protects your home's structural integrity but also ensures a healthier living environment by preventing mold and mildew growth.

Waterproofing both the interior and exterior of your basement offers the best protection against moisture. Exterior waterproofing stops water from penetrating your foundation, while interior methods manage any moisture that does enter. If you must choose one, exterior waterproofing is generally more effective, as it prevents water from reaching your home's interior in the first place.
