(I removed all lamps, small items, and knick-knacks and emptied out closets along the floor.) They worked all day non-stop to complete. Also Reuben Phagen, the sales person in the Charlotte store, was very personable and worked with me to choose the right carpeting and pad, as well as to schedule on a convenient date. He came to the house with sample boards and got me any samples that I requested. Also they had interest free financing available. This vendor was easy to work with and I would highly recommend. I did some price comparison with other vendors, and they were the best for what I wanted. I love the carpeting color and soft texture. I chose Shaw Dreamweaver with 8 lb. pad with pet protection."

"Dealing with Mike was wonderful. He made a straightforward, no muss no fuss estimate for the work that was needed. We purchased the flooring that was required and worked out a date for install that was way earlier then we had anticipated. He did make a note to mention that his son , Brandon would be the installer on our particular job. Brandon arrive on time and we very pleasant to deal with. He finished in about 5 hours. That time included removal of moulding, kick boards and the big appliances. The final result is stunning and very nice to look at. He did a fantastic job. We have a houseful of other areas in our house with worn carpeting. If and when we decide to deal with the older carpeting issues, Mike will be the first phone call to get an estimate for any of the required work. We are very happy with this company and the service we received."

"You can buy nice flooring lots of places. At A-1 CARPET & TILE you get outstanding service along with beautiful flooring. I had large plank wood-look tile installed throughout the house (both the downstairs and upstairs) and carpet on the stairs and landing. Mohammad listened to what I wanted and made excellent recommendations. He stayed in touch with me on when the installation would begin/end, working around my schedule. His installers were on-time, professional, and hard-working (arriving by 8am and not leaving until 7pm). Mohammad followed up throughout the installation, making sure I was happy with both the selection and the crew working (I was!). My flooring is absolutely gorgeous...just what I wanted! Allowed us to order our own carpet and had it delivered to his warehouse. <br /> <br /> He was hired to install replacement carpet in one bedroom. He also supplied the pad. He was very friendly and responsive. Not only did he do what we hired him to do, he brought a carpet cleaner to clean the stain out of another room for no additional charge. It kept us from having to replace that room.This company answered the phone at 11:30PM...they take 24 hours seriously. <br /> <br /> Great service!"
