"In two days, the crew of two men removed the old fencing and built the fence on-site. The crew was extremely hard-working and clearly very experienced. I appreciated the foreman's advice about details such as the positioning of the gates, specifically in which direction they should open and on which side to attach them to the fence. I was impressed by the artistry involved: the crew devised a clever solution for enclosing our yard around a tulip poplar that we share with our neighbors and cut the wood over the gate such that the pickets arched over the gate. The latter design, suggested by the foreman, adds a distinctive flair to the fence. In the thirty-five years that we have owned our house, this is the finest work we have ever had done. The crew was punctual, responsible, and meticulous about their work. I would definitely hire them again and am tempted to think about a deck. I was also pleased that the discount for Angie's List members was honored."

"Personnel from AD&F replaced flooring, railings, and balusters on an upstairs deck at my home in Arlington. I was happy with most of the work but over time I realized water was leaking through the deck and in some instances into my home. I called AD&F and the employee who came (Herman?) was professional and courteous. He came several times to try to resolve the issue and communicated thoroughly with me through out. There were structural issues with the porch that made it unusually hard to work with but he worked extremely hard to make the porch watertight and prevent further damage. I am extremely satisfied with his work and highly recommend AD&F."

"I hired Deck Armor to stain my existing deck, which is approximately 400 sq w/a staircase and small landing. I had previously stained the deck myself on an annual basis w/a semi-transparent stain. The semi-transparent stain never held up and would always look terrible about 6 months later. I hired Deck Armour to wash, sand, and stain my deck with a solid stain and could not be happier. They were exceptionally clean and addressed all my concerns. I opted for the "delux" package, which consisted of two coats of primer and a single coat of paint, in the hopes it will last as long as they tell me. It was not cheap but well worth it if I get years of enjoyment out of my deck w/o having to sand and stain it myself!"
