"I had a break in my main water service line (from the meter to the house). They attempted to perform the lowest-cost repair first (snaking a new line through the existing pipe); when that failed, they dug out a new line and installed PEX from the meter. The folks I worked with were professional and very good about keeping me in the loop about their work status. At all steps of the way, I felt like they were doing their best to do things the right way rather than the quickest; they took additional steps such as making sure the PEX mating to the house occurred inside (i.e., where it was accessible) and installed a new ball valve, which would save us considerably in the future if we had a failure again. Working with them, I had confidence that they were doing their best to do this repair in the least expensive way possible; it was only when circumstances proved prohibitive that they moved to the more expensive option (running the new line). They also made sure to set us up with a temporary repair when it was clear that there was going to be a delay getting the boring equipment to dig the new line; I really appreciated that they took the time to make sure we were taken care of."

"Company was contacted after 4pm on Friday for an emergency a/c repair after it was discovered that the condensation line was no longer draining into the yard but into the master bedroom walk-in closet. The company's technician arrived at our home within the hour on a Friday afternoon and quickly accessed the situation to prevent further water damage to the closet. The technician, Chad, was extremely polite, professional, and knowledgeable.
The a/c unit is in the front portion of the condo's attic and the outside unit is in the back of the condo with cathedral ceilings in between the two units. My husband made a suggestion to Chad that could he run the new condensation line out the front side of condo and tie the line into the existing gutter drain line. After inspection, Chad agreed that it would be much easier and cheaper to repair the line in that fashion. Chad quickly went to work repairing the line in this method in order to prevent any additional water damage. He performed several water tests by pouring a gallon of water at a time down the lines to insure that the line would properly drain. All tests were successful.
The quick response time and professionalism shown by the technician, Chad, led us to also inquire about the annual maintenance program offered by John H. Coleman. After discussing their annual maintenance program with Chad, we decided to purchase it as well. I just happened to still have Angie's List on the computer looking for contractors for the closet repair and thought I remembered a coupon for this service.
A silver lining in a terrible day was that John H. Coleman did have a 50% off coupon for the 1st year of their maintenance program for new customers for all Angie's List customers. Saved 50% for that program on the spot.
