"The work I asked JP General Construction to undertake was the demolition of a 40 year old concrete in-ground swimming pool that was far past its prime. I couldn't be more pleased with the job done by JP General Construction. When I first contacted the owner, Jaime Peredo, he made time to do a site visit the same day in spite of other projects in progress. I found him and his staff to be flexible, straight forward in describing the details of the work to be done, the techniques and equipment involved and the probable duration of the project. The work ethic and attention to detail was exactly what I was looking for., especially on the part of his employee Carlos who was tireless in some very difficult work breaking up the concrete and rebar with a jackhammer. Initially I realized that this was probably not too common a job, so with due diligence I got several proposals for the work, including one from JP General Construction. I had previously been acquainted with their pool demolition work by a near neighbor who also had a pool demolition done by JP General Construction some years ago. "The first point of contact is the sales guy (sorry forgot his name). He was very nice and professional. They are very busy so we have a three-week wait after we signed the contract and when the work was scheduled to begin. Gerry, the owner is at the site everyday. Everyone was accommodating with. our schedule. We are very pleased with our new stamped concrete patio under our deck."

"Steve Norfolk and his crew dug down to the footing and applied the waterproof material a section at a time.  The original plan was to dig the entire area first and then apply the waterproof material all at the same time.  However daily torrential rains turned the area into a sea of mud, so he decided to do it a section at a time to minimize problems associated with the rain.  He had to break up a concrete slab (porch) for 1/2 the front, and approximately 25 feet of driveway next to the house.  Progress was slow due to the rain and mud, but Steve steadfastly pursued the completion of the job despite the setbacks.  Although justifiably discouraged by the rain and lack of progress, he exhibited a positive "can do" attitude and kept at it.  The finished product was professionally done.  Backfill and all concrete were properly completed, and grass seed applied.  Steve is a conscientious professional who knows his business and can be relied upon to do the work he says he will accomplish.  I would use him again in a heartbeat.

Arrived early and ready to work the first day. Everything was completed to our satisfaction and timely. We were very happy with Ari and Killian's professionalism and flexibility.  They even worked with our fence contractors to get some fence posts in.
 This was a complicated job and not just a simple concrete pour. 
They gave us updates along the way, talked about a short delay because of weather but then worked through the weekend to make up for lost time. Overall I am very happy with the work and the price, and I am confident that the concrete will outlast most of the other household investments.

"We had a great experience with Mason and his crew at Sino-American. From the start, Mason's communication was excellent and he offered several design ideas that actually saved us money in the long term. We had two bathroom remodels done in our Takoma D.C. condo in October/November of 2019. Mason's team are highly skilled at their trade. The drywall work was exceptional!. His crew is respectful, punctual, and we felt comfortable having them in our home for several weeks. Mason took care of everything and was quick to respond if we had questions. We had a significant amount of tile work done and it turned out great. We couldn't be happier with our new bathrooms and glad we went with Mason. We would typically text with Mason throughout the project but he was always available by phone if needed. He also stopped by the project several times to check on the work and oversee the project. The bathroom remodels required complete demolition, relocation of plumbing, and framing. Mason is a great project manager and handles all the finer details and project timeline. He offered suggestions as the project moved along, and was sure to get input from us before he made any changes. While we chose the materials I'm sure his team could offer design ideas that would work well with any project. After seeing the completed product I would certainly use Sino-American for future projects and would recommend them to anyone. In fact, we would consider buying a home that needed a total remodel, and hire Sino-American to do the job. Great work and thanks for being professionals at what you do!"
