"Crew was responsive, although most did not speak English. Foreman and supervisor were responsive and professional. Major problems occurred with installation. First, rough treatment during shingle removal caused a large piece of roofing plywood to break free and crash through ceiling drywall, narrowly missing gallery artwork. A drywall specialist did respond quickly, but spoke little English. That job was not finished properly because of lack of proper finishing tools. Because of slow response to finish the drywall, the owner decided to finish it himself. Second, a major leak occurred during a rainstorm. It was determined that no flashing was installed at a juncture between two sections of the roof. That problem was resolved by a separate crew. This situation was inexcusable for a roofing company that professes to be superb, and should not have occurred. Fortunately, Power Remodeling responded quickly to resolve the problems. So far, the new roofing looks fine with complements from neighbors."

"Quality work at reasonable prices are appreciated whenever a homeowner needs a repair or replacement. This is true whether it requires a plumber, electrician, and especially a roofing company because when a roof is compromised, the home is compromised. We have relied on Shumaker Roofing Company since 2008 when they replaced our roof with Certain Teed Hatteras shingles, a vast improvement over the original shingles. We felt relieved when Bob arrived, because we knew our problem was in the best of hands. And we really feel the same way with any of the Shumaker team. Needless to say, we highly recommend Shumaker Roofing for their integrity, dependability, quality work, and at a price which we felt was always reasonable."

His crew did a superb job repairing living room ceiling which had a large hole (created by a plumbing repair contractor) and resulting cracks. The repair matched well, barely detectable by someone actually trying to find the repair area. Work was completed, no dirt, debris, or dust to anything in the living room and work residue cleaned up quickly and removed from the residence upon completion in less than a day.
