"Bill Martins Flood Crew is excellent. In December, just before Christmas, my finished rec room flooded when my sump pump failed--soaked carpet, cardboard boxes, books, furniture with sewer water. I thought I would not find anybody this time of year to help me. But I called Bill Martins from Flood Crew, and he came out right away. He looked at the basement and gave me an analysis of my damage on the spot. He was wonderful. He took care of getting detailed estimates to my insurance company and then made arrangements for me with all the needed specialists. First, I wouldn't have known where to start, and second I wouldn't have had a clue whom to call. I needed crews to remove the carpet, cut out drywall all around to dry it out, check for mold, test for asbestos, and then remove everything. And, of course, fixing the sump pump, installing flooring, putting everything back, and lots of details in between. All of this obviously can't be completed in a week or even a month. My work was not the only project that busy contractors had. My situation was far more complicated than I thought it would be. Ultimately, it took four months, which I thought was very reasonable. And the result is so beautiful--no corners cut, no putting up with mediocre results, all this for the same price and time or less than others quote. Be patient. Be flexible. Talk with Bill about the results you want. Listen to suggestions. Your results will be beyond anything you thought was possible."

"Installers showed up quickly, needed only 1/2 day to remove old, inoperative hardware and install the new. They gave clear instruction, and repeated the salesman's promise of a check-in follow-up visit in about 30 days. 60 days later I began calling people. I had questions about the water. I was passed around like a basketball in pre-game drills, with several theories and more promises, and EXCUSES. After 6 months, a service manager appeared, tested the water in my presence, said it is ok. Further, he explained that others to whom I'd spoken didn't want to make the 5 hour round trip. (Wasn't a problem for the installation which got them PAID! Once they had the $$, it was too much trouble)."

"We hired McDonald Construction to replace our kitchen and bathroom floors with ceramic tile, and to install a new bathroom vanity. I had never worked with a contractor before so naturally I had lots of questions. He was knowledgeable and was always available by phone whenever I needed to reach him. He was patient when I changed my mind a few times and even offered some great advice. The kitchen tile turned out great! When he started on our bathroom he found a problem with the plumbing with our toilet. Him and his guys were able to fix the leak promptly and continue to install our beautiful tile floor. He even installed a new bathroom vanity, towel bars, and shower curtain bar. I picked a vanity that had a vessel sink so I needed to find a special faucet to fit. Well…the faucet turned out to be so special that it needed a certain part that wasn’t sold in any stores around. Instead of saying “I can’t install this- find another” he was able to work some miracle and got the part specially made for the faucet to fit my dream vanity. He showed up on time and at the end of each day, he had meticulously cleaned up his workspace. It was a great experience working with him and his company."
