The windows slide effortlessly. We had a gutter issue and they came up with a creative idea to manage the water. Our neighbors are stopping to see it. We chose the windows floor to ceiling and you can see the ornamental grass through it, a beautiful look. The installers were friendly and easy to talk with. We love it! Highly recommended! A++"

For the quality and price we were looking for Maryland Sunrooms was clearly above the competition, and we never regretted going with them. From our initial discussions with them, through signing the contract, all the way to the completion of the project and beyond what we appreciated most was that we were able to always communicate directly with Mike, the owner, and Pete, our project supervisor and they were always responsive and helpful. On top of that, we were beyond impressed and pleased with Saul, who actually did almost the entire construction himself besides pouring the slab and running the electrical, which they subcontract out. He's incredibly talented and was so wonderfully easy to work with, which was especially important as we were coordinating siding and gutters contractors and plumbers as well to do work in conjunction with the sunroom. "Deck and Fence was actually the last deck builder we spoke to about building a deck and a patio underneath that would stay dry and usable during rain (thanks, Trex Rainscape!). They were different from the other builders we talked to in many ways. Unlike the others, on their first visit, Deck and Fence showed us many samples of the deck flooring, railing accessories and hardscape options we could choose from, as well as a fairly detailed to-scale diagram of how the deck and patio underneath would come together. Even better, the representative was able to show us pictures of the actual decks and patios they had built and that had the options and design we discussed. None of the others presented samples or had pictures, even after multiple visits. It was easy to close the deal because the pricing presented on the first visit was detailed enough for us to tweek what we wanted to fit into our budget and we had a very good idea of what the finished product would look like. They started building the deck within the time frame discussed and answered all of our questions about the materials, construction, permits and other details as the project progressed. Spending this money for an addition to our house was a big deal for us, but my wife and I never felt a "hard sell", just knowledgeable and honest answers. It's nice to have county inspections as the project progresses, but you have to have confidence in the builder and we did, initially, and it grew as we saw the addition take shape. In fact, a few weeks after it was complete, we decided on a second phase that would extend the patio and that was completed within the estimated time, as well. We especially appreciated the care the crew took with our underground irrigation system. The crew also showed attention to detail and were friendly and professional and left the back yard in good shape after both phases. We believe we got our money's worth here and we recommend them without reservation."

"Larry & his son, Mike, arrived on time to both of our appointments. Larry was responsive via email throughout the process of setting up appointments. The insulation & air sealing project done after my energy audit went smoothly and I think was reasonably priced (I'll know more about the value this winter when I can really assess the degree of improvement in heat retention in my room over the garage, but I'm optimistic). The crew cleaned up spotlessly and emailed me before & after pics (which was important as I couldn't see the work that was done). Most importantly, they were kind and courteous to me and treated my project with attentiveness even though it might have been on the smaller side. "There are not many businesses that offer retractable screens in Northern Virginia so I was very happy find Tri State Retractable Screens. The process from start to finish was smooth and problem free. I mainly worked with Colby who is very professional and responsive. He was more than willing to work with me via email or over the phone. I provided him some pictures and dimensions and he was able to give me few different options with approximate prices the same day. After my wife and I settled on our choices, it took about 4-5 weeks for the factory to build the screen. After that, the installation was completed quickly and cleanly. "The sunroom is wonderful. The room is made in a factory with solid foam walls and the floor is 8" thick to keep out the cold. We had some rain come in during a storm as the construction had just started despite the tarps Bills team had in place. I called and he was here within the hour to help remedy the tarp replacement. The screens role up and the sliding windows make it easy to open for cross ventilation. I am very happy with the installation and the final product.The price was a little higher than I had hoped but all said I got a great value and an addition that will last."
