We contacted the installer, National Design Mart of Medina and discovered they don't seal their granite. That's when we called Smith Metal & Marble Restoration. Stuart Smith did the estimate and the service. He is experienced, knowledgeable, courteous, and a true professional. Stuart repaired the chip so that it is undistinguishable, polished the granite, and sealed it. The counters looked immediately new like they should have looked all along. He also caulked our under mount sink to prevent water from seeping under the granite. We highly recommend Smith Metal & Marble Restoration. Don't bother looking anywhere else!"

"We met with Leanne in April and talked about the AWR process, made our choices and, because we had already investigated other similar companies decided quickly to go with American Wood Reface. Within a couple of months Terry came out to take precise measurements and go over specific details in order that all the materials could be ordered and ready for our start date of October. The cabinets were refaced in the color White Dove; the center island was refaced in a contrasting color (sage green); a built-in desk and cabinet above were removed and replaced with a custom built pantry with a microwave cubby; two cabinets were moved six inches to accommodate a 6-burner gas range and a hood above; the dark granite was replaced with light colored Cambria quartz (Crowndale); all cabinets were extended to the ceiling to alleviate the need to clean above & crown molding added; new pulls installed on all drawers & doors; pots & pans drawers installed; LED undercabinet lighting added; subway tile backsplash installed; and a two bowl stainless sink installed. All of this was accomplished by one master carpenter, Brandon, who worked Saturdays and even one Sunday to complete the job in the projected time. He cleaned the kitchen work area each evening so that we could use it if we had needed, which we did not during the renovation. The garage work area was cleaned and all tools/saws stowed each evening so we could park in the garage. His attention to detail in all areas of the work was exemplary. The price Leanne quoted is the price we paid! We are thrilled with our new, bright kitchen!"

"Everything turned out just the way I wanted it to.He made a beautiful wooden table to replace the old one. In addition, he improved the look of the space itself by making the table blend seemlessly into the wall. The original look had had a gap between the wall tiles and the built-in. Yes, I would hire him again and will recommend him to others."

"Art was delayed a day for removal but called ahead & asked if it was alright. It was so no prob. there. He worked w/ me on the timing w/ the furnace. A half bath was involved so  he removed toilet & replaced w/ new wax ring. Saved us from hiring a plumber!!!! He's a real nice guy, Jokes, friendly but still professional. However I think he needs a secretary/receptionist because his phone rings almost nonstop. Did a beautiful job (matching @ seams, cutouts, etc. Will hire again in a heartbeat. Will need flooring for rest of house in a year or so & will definitely call him!!! I would recommend a lot of notice (as I did this time) as he's a small company and booked through August right now."

"Company was great to work with. We're doing most of the kitchen remodel ourselves, so we had many questions regarding choosing the countertops, and how to be sure we were building a wall for the bar in a way that would support the weight of the stone. Therese called an installer from the back who drew a picture for us of how to brace the wall and countertop. She also gave us suggestions regarding which granite to choose, since we were concerned that our original choice may seem dated or too busy once installed. After the install, we had questions about cuts that were made into the drywall which we had to then fix. It seems that it was necessary to make the cuts because the wall was bowed. Therese and installer came back out and looked at the wall, and discussed it with us. Although I wish we wouldn't have had to call the drywaller back out, I fully understand that it was necessary. The countertops are beautiful and I would recommend them."

"Bob was able to accommodate our job during the busy period where we could not get anyone else to take it. He was responsive and reasonable in pricing. He also gave us good suggestions for the backsplash and helped us save money by removing some non essential accessories. He and his worker installed the tiles the first day. His workers did grouting the second day. Bob came to finally inspect the job and fix minor faults. They cleaned up each day. Overall we were very happy with the job and the price. <br />"

"Our beautiful granite counters really look good with the sealer on them, they feel exceptionally smooth, easy to clean them now. The tile sealer in the bath and laundry rooms was worth the money. The grout will stay looking good, the color is protected and water wear and tear is no longer a concern. The water rolls off the shower doors, so much easier to clean, soap does not stick / scum up. <br /> <br /> The next service we are calling Kris for is our toilets. They will be much much easier to clean once they are sealed. We all know if we could make cleaning toilets easier we should. We highly recommend Kris and HydoSheild. You will not find a nicer guy and he is very professional, looked good and was very knowledgeable. If you have granite, tile, or glass shower doors, everyone has toilets, you should call Kris and get the HydoSheild service!"

"The job went amazingly smoothly and quickly, and less expensively than I'd expected. <br /> When I went to the Bella Stone shop, I was first impressed by being immediately greeted and escorted in through the back of the shop, where I was able to see the real down-to-earth "working area," kind of like one is impressed by being able to see the kitchen in a restaurant. I was introduced to Brian, whom I was told was their "color expert." He took my tile samples and my photos of the kitchen, near where the windowsill would be, and almost immediately found a remnant of granite out in their yard that was the perfect color for the locale.   <br /> I was told that all of the work would be completed within a week, which astounded me... Carl was at the house within 2 days to do detailed site measurements. Jeremy, the foreman, was here yesterday (5 days after first date of contact) and today (arrived very promptly, as scheduled, both days), and carefully fitted the granite into a rather difficult spot (since he was working with an existing window and existing wood trim). He made almost no mess in my kitchen, and cleaned every bit of it up. He was also very good about giving me follow-up care instructions for the stone, before he left. <br /> The sill is stunningly gorgeous, and my only regret is that I did not do it sooner. I would very highly recommend Bella Stone for custom granite work. I particularly appreciated the fact that they gave my small job just as much attention and respect as they must give their much larger jobs! <br />"

"As part of a bathroom make-over and after finally deciding to go w/ natural stone, visited the Firenza Stone shop and found a huge selection of "remnant" materials, which were perfect for making a small countertop ... picked through all and found a piece we loved, but a specific section of the piece, not at either end ... Tony asked us to show him the section, he said no problem and marked it off ... and, again because of the small size of the vanity we had, sinks were limited, but Tony showed us a nice porcelain undermount, that would work perfectly, and we added that to the list ... about one week later, the crew showed up ... the only hiccup being they came about 2 hours early, without notice ... not a big deal, as we were there and in the process of removing the existing unit, but just a little more hectic ... install went smoothly, and it looks great. <br />"
