"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."

It has always been worth the monthly fee and deductibles. If you consider that most appliances today only last five years or so, breakdowns are going to be a given. "Great service and very friendly. Sears came in and replaced my icemaker with a refurbished item and said it was new. It did not even work. Chuck came in and checked everything out and replaced with a brand new one. He worked around my busy schedule which was totally awesome. Sears gave me an 8-5 Monday thru Friday. Chuck came out on a Saturday and works past 5 o'clock. Price is very reasonable and again Service was outstanding."
