"When coming to give a bid, Gordon Senior did a great job looking at each project and explaining what would be done and what it would cost. He spent an entire day completing projects, with a wonderful assistant. He removed and installed two toilets, which required extra work because the old toilets had rusted parts in the floor. Gordon Senior figured out how to fix the problems, and purchased materials to complete the job. He also replaced two outdoor faucets and installed two new indoor faucets. He snaked our sewer pipes out to the street and showed us the condition of our sewer pipe on a live video. A lot was accomplished in a day's worth of work. Our only disappointment was that he didn't follow through with providing a bid on replacing the sewer pipe, which will need to be done eventually."

"I had limited time and needed a sewage pipe fixed inside the crawl space. They were very fast about contacting me and sending someone the next day. They were a bit more expensive but all in all they did the job well."

"I originally hired Luke to do a HVAC maintenance check up. After I placed my request through Home Advisor, he called me within 5 minutes, and set an appt. He was very thorough and explained/educated me as to what he saw and what he was doing. Subsequent to this, a pipe had burst (no fault of his) and he helped me clean up the mess as well as fixed the pipe. He was flexible, knowledgeable, polite, and wore a mask the entire time. He will be the one I will call for any of these types of issues."

"I live up in the mountains in Livermore, CO and most times it is difficult to get anybody up here for home systems repair/maintenance within a week or two. Jason Fowler with Lion Home Service was here Within two hours of calling them. He was professional, thorough, informative and efficient with his time. He had my heater fixed and running optimally within 30 minutes while explaining everything that he was doing and why. I can’t recommend Jason and Lion Home Service highly enough! Thank you Jason!"

"Called Ron and he came over late in the evening and discussed the work that was required and the time frame for completion. He and his crew came over on a Saturday afternoon and tore drywall down and trim work out, carrying everything to the dumpster. Any follow up that was needed was co-ordinated and adhered to with me. When it came time to start finishing work they arrived at the agreed time and stayed on task until the job was completed. The painting was done equal to or better than the builder's painters and finish work was spot on; can't tell there was ever a problem. Communication was good, attitude was professional and the clean up after they were done was great! When needing things done in the future, Ron will be my first call.

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Roggen, CO

You can absolutely install an outdoor mixture tap outside your home. An outdoor mixer tap blends hot and cold water before it leaves the spout, giving you a steady temperature for rinsing produce, washing hands, or spraying down patio furniture. As long as a plumber runs both hot and cold supply lines and insulates them against freezing, a mixer outside performs just like the one in your kitchen.

Outdoor faucet handles come in twist, lever, or knob varieties, all designed to stand up to the elements while giving you precise flow control. They’re built from tough materials yet offer the same comfort and ease of use as indoor faucets. Ask your plumber for a selection and for recommendations on the best option for your needs.

Start by pinpointing the leak—often it’s a worn washer, a loose packing nut, or a damaged gasket. If it’s salvageable, replace the faulty part; otherwise, you may need a new faucet. Always turn off the water before starting repairs, and test thoroughly when you’re done to confirm you’ve stopped the leak.

You can protect your outdoor faucets during the winter months by shutting off the water supply to the outdoor faucet before freezing weather arrives and by always disconnecting any attached hoses. You can further safeguard your outdoor faucets against ice by insulating the pipe and installing a basic faucet cover.

An outdoor faucet can last 20 years, though budget models may wear out in 10, and high-end ones can push 30 or more. Proper installation, routine upkeep, and careful use help you get the most life from any spigot. Ask your plumber for maintenance and care recommendations to get the most from your outdoor faucet.

Replacing an outdoor spigot yourself might work if you’re handy, but a professional plumber guarantees code compliance, reduces the risk of water damage, and offers peace of mind. If you’re not sure about soldering or local regulations, it’s best to hire a licensed plumber for a lasting fix that you can feel confident in.
