It was readily apparent from the details of the quote however, that this organization knew exactly what needed to be done. "I called Clean Cut Abatement on Friday Feb. 6 to have them give me a quote on how much it would cost to get a mold test done on our basement.  Mike the President of the company came out that day and discussed the plan with me. He told me that the bottom line would be 4500 max and they could start on Monday. Then he informed me that the flooring was asepsis but it was in good shape so we could leave it alone. However, we decided to get rid of it anyways. That was another 1500.  the whole job was going to be 6000.00 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The company showed up as promised on Monday, they had to tare down all the paneling, ceiling tiles, flooring, carpet on the stairs, it was a big job.  They took every precaution to make sure that they did not contaminate the main house.  They sealed of the door way with plastic, they wrapped the items and disposed of it  promptly.  The demolition went very well.  They ran a fan in the basement to keep the particles from reaching the main house.  Mike had the room tested on Wednesday for asepsis and that passed, they came back Thursday and cleaned the was with a solution and told us not to go down there.  Later that day they finished up and painted the walls with a dryloc paint to help keep moisture out. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> On Tuesday, we had our final inspection and it passed,  Mike will be sending us a copy of the report when it comes in.  We are very pleased with the job that was done.  They were very professional, delivered what they promised and they cleaned everything up.  He even gave up a $500 discount for finishing early.
