"Our project setting was a lackluster 1950's home with a a couple of obligatory native trees in the back yard. Laeken suggested planting 3 groups of mixed evergreens with mulch and space for future boulders. I absolutely loved the idea! Now, the work has been completed and even with non-mature evergreens, my home is suddenly a place of retreat and comfort, that privacy from the plantings offer. The value of our home has improved immeasurably with beautiful evergreens that will be extremely easy to care for and will only get better over the years. I would be remiss not to mention the project was installed very quickly by two of the hardest working humans ever. Laeken and her staff are very driven. They paid attention to detail, making sure everything from design to staking, was completed correctly and quickly. We are very pleased we went with Land Escapes. "It went very well. Two very professional employees arrived at the agreed upon time. The owner joined them later in the morning and helped them finish up. They spent about 7 hours completing the job, which was the estimated amount of time we were advised it would take. They did a nice job of cleaning up the work area before leaving for the day. There was no mess left behind. We also had a friend who had used Midland Concrete Leveling to mudjack their driveway and they were also pleased with the work and price."

In this day and age it's hard to find a contractor who will do everything right (or even return a phone call) but Martens Flatwork performed 100% to my satisfaction. Highly recommended."

"John came out and price it up (the second time in two years).  When I asked about a time frame to do the work he was several weeks out which was fine by me.  Paid my 50% deposit.  A week or so later he said he had an opening and they were over ripping everything out and got all the demo done, the patio formed and re-bar installed.  This was a Friday.  Saturday they were back and poured the concrete, did all the stamping, and staining, expansion joints, and put in the border.  Sunday they were back to pressure wash and seal it all and were done. 
I had gotten 3 prices and he was the lowest by a couple of grand.  He had good references and reviews on Angie's list so I went with him.
I needed him to come out about 6 months later to fix a chip (caused by me) and he did at no charge.  We are very happy with it.  A hot tub sits on one end and I've not seen any cracks

"Work was done to my expectations & beyond. Ben & Jesse helped me decide how to best approach the repairs & that made my $$$ go as far as possible. Work started on time and the job was finished on time. The quality of the workmanship was excellent---from demo to cleanup everyday to new drywall/mudding to painting and finish carpentry. I had new floors installed. To be honest, there was a problem with how the upstairs bathroom floor was installed. I was not happy and after they looked at the job, they agreed with me. New materials were ordered and installed perfectly within several weeks. I think that is what impresses me about this company. So many times contractors blow off an older woman. I've been treated so poorly by other companies. Not this company. When there was a problem with that flooring, they wanted to make things right and have me be satisfied. They never talked down to me or made me feel like my requests were outlandish. I couldn't be happier."
