"Issac was great to work with great! He was so knowledgable about the area, what type of soil we needed, and what type of landscape design would be best for our shaded backyard section. He helped design the new patio  with pavers as well and had a great solution of redoing the cement stairs to match too! Then, the men that did the work were AMAZING! "I don't want this to seem like a negative review because their work and reviews speak for themselves. I am unable to provide an accurate review due to the limitations of the company's ability to do work within condo/apartment buildings. I can't blame them but their insurance company doesn't cover them. So, I guess this is more of a FYI. I am sure this is a great company to partner with for home projects. In our building next to Penn Station is a converted loft that used to be a button factory. Each unit has exposed brick, exposed beam, and exposed duct work which is rare for this area. These are deemed as New York-style lofts. There are 17 units in our building and all are individually owned. There are 14/17 units that are owner-occupied and everyone has their own contractors coming in pretty consistently to upgrade or make changes to their units. It's unfortunate and we looked forward to working with this company. I wish this company continued success and a great 2021. Sorry that your insurance providers wouldn't allow you to work with condo buildings."

"We purchased a home that was over 108 years old and needed a complete gut renovation for all 3 floors. We met with John Fiore and were very impressed with his responsiveness, flexibility, and partnership throughout this massive project. He responded to calls, email and texts within minutes, was always available and communicative through the process (which is hard to find but so valued, especially as we were living about 1.5 hours away during the renovation). John always did the right thing for the project (either proactively letting us know when changes needed to be made or absorbing costs into the project). For example, the floors got damaged during demo when combining two rooms. He just gave us new floors without asking us to pay because it was the right thing to do. Also, his team was meticulous about laying tiles, mapping out electrical, etc. If we had a problem or didn’t like something, they fixed it at no additional cost. John was so patient and calming throughout the renovation. One thing everyone warned us about was planning for the budget to double through a project this big. John’s team kept such meticulous track of the expenses (including light fixture, tiles, etc) and we actually received a credit towards our project because we stayed under budget for most of our selections. This is completely unheard of and I am so impressed with how organized their processes are. We really felt that Garden State made a big and challenging construction process as positive of an experience as possible. We hired them to do our back deck and have referred them to many of our friends and neighbors who have been blown away by the renovation of our hike. We will hire them for all future projects based on our really great experience with them!"

Tito and his crew were able to establish the permit in three weeks - we waited on this same permit application for almost 9 months with another company without the result we wanted Tito kept me updated, informed, and every step of the project he let me know what was going on in my backyard His crew could not have been nicer or more hard working. I swear they were out there In 100 degree heat. The back porch that they completed surpassed all of our expectations and more.
