"Everything went very well. The technician had all the parts in his truck, even though he hadn’t been given many details. Our sump well is smaller than most, but he was able to fit it in. I would’ve liked to keep the old pump, but didn’t think to make that request until after the technician left. Called the office for it, but I guess it was already disposed of. Would hire this company again."

Repair - Marcus repaired discharge pipe in typical Michigan weather (34 Degrees and windy). Marcus went to work, going above and beyond to fix issue -- digging and cutting out specific piece of broken pipe, making sure remaining pipe was ok by snaking hose, performed repairs and cleaned up yard. In a rarity these days -- his efforts -- on a day when many others would have taken a short cut or mailed it in, showed he wanted to do the right thing. Very thankful and impressed. "We began the investigation of a water leak with another company in July 18, 2012. This first company came out, charged us $90, and indicated on the receipt that there was "no sign of leak" in our basement and call back if there was a problem. No testing was done and water marks were visible on the basement wall and floor. We called this same company back September 26, 2012 with the same concern. The workman came out, performed tests and determined that water was "leaking through the basement wall" and that there was a "pin hole leak" in our pressure tank. The company charged us an additional $130 and said they would give us an estimate for the repair of the problem. As of October 26, we have not received their estimate for repair. <br /> We contacted Lalone October 11,2012 with our concerns and on October 12, Matt LaLone came out to investigate our problem. Matt appeared to have a good idea as to the likely problem. He took the necessary tests, made recommendations, and gave us a written agreementt with an estimate of what the work would cost. We contracted with Lalone to repair the water leak. Matt and his crew came out, October 19, 2012, on time and performed in a workmanlike manner to repair the leak. The pricing was competitive. We commend Angie's List for listing Mike Lalone Inc and have the utmost confidence that when we select a company from Angie's List, we receive quality service and pricing. <br />"

"I tried to find some plumber to replace two gate valves in my basement. The two valves are immediately upstream and downstream to the water meter, respectively and very important to the water safety in the house. I found Genson's from the Angie's list. Prior to the choice, I had inquired several plumbers on the price and Genson's gave the lowest one (the highest quote I got was $450). I also found that they really meant business, although they are little bit far away from where I live, they readily promised to provide the service. I confided in them since they clearly put the hourly charge rate here (which is $80/hr, plus $20 service fee), which makes things much easier and trustworthy. They made all the contact with the city water department to arrange the switch-off of the curb side valve on the date they performed the service when they sent one gentleman to do the work. The gentleman arrived as promised and took 45 min to complete the job, which was very professional and perfect. I am very satisfied and thus highly recommend. <br />"
