"They were professional and helpful. Base price was good. Add on’s we requested drove up cost. One thing that could have gone better was a stain in the carpet that soaked down into the pad. The stain kept coming back and spread. Instead of steam cleaning, I solved it myself we an off the shelf Oxyclean solution."

Not only did they complete sooner than expected, they made sure to put furniture back where it was, clean up each day and as they left. Rob was great to work with. "This is actually my second time working with The Rug Shoppe. I purchased some ceramic tile from them a year earlier for a job a did myself. The reason I bring that up now, is because when I came back a year later, Liz the sales associate that I worked with a year earlier, immediately remembered me, my name, my wife's name, and even that I had two cats. She is really the reason that we went with the Rug Shoppe for our carpet purchase as she is a delight to work with. As we were looking for carpet, Liz was great in helping us find stain resistant carpets that are good for households with pets. I did get quotes from other locations, and The Rug Shoppe did not come in as the lowest, however when I told this to Liz, she worked hard to get me a price that matched the lowest bid I received elsewhere. They showed up to do the work on time. They moved my furniture, removed the old carpet, installed the new carpet, and put the furniture back in place all in one day. All in all, I'm very pleased with the job."

"CRS sent a representative to do an estimate for checking out the possibility of mold. They were on time and had some very cool equipment to measure moisture. They did an assessment and told us we do not need their services and that they do not think there is a mold problem. They suggested a strategy for tracking down the leak and told us how we could do it ourselves. He was at our house for almost an hour and didn't charge us anything. They were punctual, courteous and very helpful. I will definitely use them in the future if the need arises."

"We requested an estimate from a representative at the local Home Show that we attended. Salesperson was scheduled and arrived on time. Representative at the Home Show scheduled the appointment, but otherwise, was not very informative re: the products available. <br /> <br /> Sales person was very personable and helpful in discussing our needs and then providing suggestions and samples for us to view and choose from. Salesperson clarified the 'free services/products' offering. <br /> <br /> Once choices were made and salesperson measured our rooms, she provided an estimate that intitally was 2x other estimates that we received for similar, or same products. Even after calculating additional 'special manager' and 'end of month' discounts, the pricing was still 50% higher than our other estimates. <br /> <br /> We did not contract with this vendor for the product or installation, and notified the salesperson, and why. <br /> Salesperson was very professional and accepted our decision graciously. <br /> <br /> We would not use this company in the future because of the pricing issue, which appears to be consistent with other Angie's List findings. <br /> <br />"
