"We moved into our new home in June of 2015. On Friday night August 14th we were no longer getting cold air, just the fan blowing warm air. The unit made a horrible sound and we shut it down. I made a call to Spencer's for a technician on Saturday as we could make it through the night. <br /> On Saturday, their technician, Felipe came to our rescue. He went around to the unit and dove straight in. In about 20 to 30 minutes he brought me outside to see what he found and did. The top fan on the unit had an issue that he fixed to get our A/C going. But he had taken the time to check the whole unit out and found a rusted hole in the heat exchange. He shut down the heater, A/C still worked thanks to him, and said need to get repaired before cold weather. I want to take a moment and give a thanks to Felipe's professionalism. He came in with a positive attitude, took ownership of the problem and most of all, went beyond just fixing the problem and leaving. He did not have to check out the whole unit, only fix it and go. I have worked over 30 years as a telephone technician and met many a technician that would not put a lot of effort or gone the extra step. He is a great asset to their company. <br /> I called up the company Monday and asked for a quote to replace the unit. The price was a little higher than another bid, but I went with Spencer's, mostly on the fact of a great service experience.
