I had an old house with a low basement and was concerned about pulling this job together properly. The owner of Dun Rite provided references from other owners of similar homes who all were willing to speak to me about their experience, all of it positive. It was actually a pleasure to do business with him, and he works hard to ensure the system is as visually appealing as possible as a retrofit in an older home. He also makes himself available after the job is complete for questions or to check the system is functioning at ideal capacity. His workmanship was excellent and he always cleaned up well before he left. The inspectors that came once the job was completed commented that the workmanship was really good. "This was a complicated logistical job in Rutherford, N.J. Four floors, retrofitting an old home with duct work, two systems. I got six total bids -- and everybody had a different idea how to do it. The process drove me nuts, but went with Mike and he was tops. His pricing was enormously competitive but you felt that you lost nothing in quality and customer service. He patiently walked me through a very complex process over numerous phone calls, patiently answered my dozens-upon-dozens-upon-dozens of questions about what system to choose, what other contractors had suggested, the relative merits and cons of each proposal. I truly found an advocate in Mike. Also, he did what he said he was going to do. He finished the job ahead of schedule, he accommodating me when hurdles arose.
