"This is the second time that my wife and I have used Rodolfo. He is terrific! The project went very well - I am extremely satisfied with the work once again. He completed the work on schedule in just 5 days. He and his crew painted: 3BR, kitchen, dining room, living room, hallways and large finished basement. He had the difficult challenge of painting over some very dark and very bright colors. He properly prepped and primed the walls and was able to get a consistent color all through the unit. He did a great job preparing the kitchen and caulking up around the back splash. He cares a lot about the details and the final finish. What I like about Rodolfo is that he thinks about the end product and makes suggestions about small extra things to do that will make the finished product look better. For example, he took out an in wall air conditioner that was broken, put in new dry wall and insulation and put new siding on the outside. He paid close attention to the details and was able to match the paint color exactly. This was a huge time saver as we didn't need to find a carpenter and his price was very, very fair to do this extra work. In addition, I had the hardwood floors refinished, and he came back after they were finished and touched up all of the baseboards for no additional cost. He's also made a number of excellent referrals for cleaning and for wood floor refinishing. He was fair, honest and straightforward. I would definitely recommend him. His prices were fair and in line with the other estimates that we received."

"Eddie & Simon saved the day when a less than professional contractor not only did a poor job on installing our new our front stoop and walkway, but also did not complete the job. They showed up with tools in hand to assess the problem, identified all the issues and told us how they would fix them. We got estimates from four masons and chose Eddie & Simon as we felt they were not only knowledgeable but they were also honest, direct, and fair in their pricing. As it turns out, they even modified their schedule to squeeze our job in (including part of a holiday weekend) because we were on a deadline to complete the masonry before landscaping work could be finished. Gabe Arsenault is a man you can count on. With his crew, he
did everything he said he would do and more, despite seemingly impossible
challenges. And he did it all superbly well, so far as we can tell.
We presented Gabe with a gigantic challenge, which he took
on and surmounted, repeatedly refusing to accept a raise in price.
Our house was in bad shape. Several years earlier, the Board
of Assessors officially rated its condition ?very poor.? It had not been painted
for 43 years.  Moss was growing on the
roof. Tree branches abounded overhead. Some of the trim was rotting, and siding
was damaged. One of the windows had a collapsed screen and missing glazing.
Thresholds were dilapidated. A ramshackle shed stands just 5 feet from the
house. It had a stubborn storm drainage problem, which had undermined part of
the foundation. Gabe attacked each of these problems and put them right.
For 43 years, the house was 100% light green. We got to choose
our color scheme, so we opted for radical change: rust for the body, caramel
for the trim, and burnt copper for the doors and pilasters. Gabe added black
for the thresholds and house number. After meticulous preparation and prime
coats, all of that went onto the house AND SHED. Even the shed has attractive
trim now!
Drainage was the crowning glory of Gabe?s work here. How
many painters or carpenters do you know who can handle impossible drainage
problems? He put up gutter board, gutters, downspout, and appropriate downspout
extension for the back roof. With his crew, he hand-excavated through rocks and
gravel to create a lengthy subsurface drainage system for the garage entry,
moving excess soil to where it was needed to slow down runoff from the front.

"Brad and his crew were excellent. They managed to work around our rather cluttered basement, and finished their work only a day over their original schedule. We had an issue with the air conditioner a few days after installation was complete, and Brad had someone out here to diagnose and solve the problem over Memorial Day weekend! My only caveat, and it's frankly my own failing—if you have specific ideas about finish work, be sure to communicate them beforehand. "
