"From water in my house, due to Hurricane Milton, and the discovery of cracks on the exterior of my concrete block house â ¦ to a week of digging, grinding, cementing, and waterproofing the slab, the interior walls of two rooms, and fixing cracks in the exterior walls of my house, this was quite an experience! As annoying and disruptive as something like this can and will be, all in all it wasnâ t nearly as bad as I anticipated, mainly due to Brian, the lead. He was informative, asked my opinion, explained why things were done as they were, and went over and above to keep me in the loop. Both he and Corey were respectful and pleasant at all times. As you can imagine, as a woman living alone, it is difficult to have male workers in and out of the house. At no time was I concerned. Yes, this experience was a bit disruptive and I knew it would be â ¦ but it was ever so less painful and disruptive than I thought it would be and I thank Brian for that. And, I no longer have to worry about water in my house from hurricanes. May I also say that the response from this company was exceptional. I entered my information into their website the day after the hurricane hit. Within 15 to 20 minutes, I received a phone call from the CEO. We talked a bit and he made an appointment for the next week. He kept me informed by text as to his arrival time and arrived when he said he would. He told me what the company would do and sent a contract to me which I signed. I was given a start date and it never changed. The work that was done by the team that arrived was what he said would happen. How incredibly refreshing that a company actually did what they say they would do in the timeframe that was set. Thank you again. I hope I am never in the position to need this companyâ s services again. ð But, for anyone else out there who is, I donâ t believe you could do much better than Advanced Environmental Services. Five stars are not enough."

"Fred from Florida Lifetime Impact Window and Doors was the last of five representatives that we interviewed for our project. He was also the only non-sales type we had seen. Fred was able to offer us the best product we'd considered (Gorrell) for the lowest price (the cost was comparable to other, inferior products). He also explained all insurance, licenses and certifications that the company holds and further increased our confidence by letting us know that the work would be performed by company employees, not sub-contractors. Fred provided the fastest yet most complete and honest presentation of all. Thenceforward, the progress was seamless. Ken handled the communications perfectly, scheduling and performing the engineering inspection in a prompt and professional manner and keeping us informed as to the progress of the project at all times. As soon as the windows had arrived form the factory, Ken let us know and scheduled the install for the next day. Unfortunately, I was out of town that day and didn't witness the process myself but when I got home in the evening, it was as if a 'window wizard' had waved his wand and changed our crappy old jalousie windows into something marvelous. There was no evidence (except for the new windows) that any work had been done! The place was spotless inside and out...no trash, debris or damage. Everything looked beautiful. My wife was there during the install and was completely at ease with the presence of the crew who were polite, efficient and tidy in their work, cleaning as they went. We had eleven windows replaced. The team started at about 08:30 and were finished by about 4pm. Florida Lifetime provided not only an excellent product but probably the best customer relations and contractor service I have ever experienced. I am absolutely delighted."

"In July 2018, I hired Reel Construction to build a concrete, two-story, 17X19 ft storage building. While the overall work performed was well done, we did experience some problems. During the seven months it took to complete the project, we often felt like we were not being kept in the loop as to what was occurring with the project and we were often asked questions by those working on the building that we could not answer. Another problem involved the delivery of the roofing shingles. When these were delivered, we were told by those delivering them that were unable to place them on the roof, due to the nearby power lines. Not knowing at the time that these tiles are supposed to be placed on the roof by those delivering them, we suggested the tiles could be placed inside the building. When the roofer and the contractor found out about this, we were accused of making this decision, when in actuality the company that delivered the tiles refused to attempt to place them on the roof. While most everyone who worked on the building did quite well, we were somewhat disappointed in the quality of the work done by the carpenters in building the stairs to the second floor. I feel the carpenters are skilled in what they do, but the work looked like it was rushed. The top railing wood support was completely broken in half. Several cracks and pieces of wood were broken off from the nailing. None of these were repaired by the carpenters. Despite the problems, I would re-hire Reel Construction for future projects."

My one caveat is that the salesperson clearly stated that the work would be done by a local contractor, which was, I guess, technically true, since it looks like a local contractor subcontracted to a group of men (Polish or Russian) who drove up from Chicago and did the work. I was led to believe it would be done by local workers so that was a bit off-putting"
